The SHRINING WOMAN
I come from a large family. I couldn't stick to diets and my weight-challenged cousin researched a nearby Curves for me. I limped along when I first joined but my looming health problems finally kicked me into gear. I go faithfully 3x a week and am counting the pounds that are falling away. I no longer dread trying to fit into a seat on a plane, or sitting in a booth at a restaurant. I use to limit my social activities because I was so embarrassed. I'm smaller now than I was when I was in high school and have gone from 360 lbs to 217 lbs. I no longer have to take blood pressure medication and my confidence has soared as my waistline has slimmed down. I know the struggle all to well, and it really makes me feel good to know that I might inspire someone who may not otherwise be able to do it. Thanks to Curves I am nearly half the woman I use to be.
