You cannot reach anyone on the phone, there buisness hours ems at 3pm, they leave garbage all over the yard and street, their trucks speed through neighborhoods, their trucks do not stop at stop signs in neighborhoods, their trucks leak fluids all over the street, just look at where theu stop, oil and hydraulic floids on the street. It is horrible to pay online, the system does not work half the time. They leave the containers in the middle of driveways amd even in the street. A manager nor owner will ever return a call. Worst sanitation company in the U.S.

I have lived all over the US and have never experienced such poor service in a sanitation company. I went with Cycle Works b/c that is who the prev homeowners used and the bins were still at the house. I called well before move-in, established service and pre-paid. What a mistake that was. On our first scheduled pickup (trash and recycle on the same day), everything was normal. I came home for lunch and saw that both the trash and recycle were picked up. Then when I got home from work that evening, the bins were gone. I called the next morning and they said that they picked them up, though not sure why. Replacements were delivered prior to the next pick up, but they were disgusting: beat up, covered in paint, dirt, and cob webs, and clearly not cleaned. I called the next day (they close at 3pm!) and they apologized and promised to get new bins out ASAP. They did in fact deliver clean bins within the next day or so, but the wheels on one of them fell off. I was able to repairs it luckily. OK, all that prev stuff I can live with. Just some confusion getting a new account all set up right? No. For the next 3 months (the length of the pre payment), they NEVER picked up the recycling without me calling after getting home and seeing that it wasn't picked up. They apologized credited my account, made "reports", made sure I was on their "route", everything. And yet, after 3 months, they correctly picked up the recycle 0 times. These folks are the definition of incompetent.

I have had nothing but fantastic service for the last 6 years with Cycle Works. They have great customer service; especially Kelsi who helped me obtained a new recycling bin recently.

I was in awe at the excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the manner in which the worker handled and resolved my issue in such a prompt manner. Would definitely recommend Cycle Works to others!

In Jan 2013 I started the service at 33.00 a quarter. Then I had to pay $20 for a recycling bin. Then with my first bill there was a "fuel surcharge" Now my May 2014 bill is 42.75, oh even though gas is cheaper the fuel surcharge increased.

This is not the first time that they have missed a pickup (not just me but my whole neighborhood). I called on Saturday morning after our neighborhood's recycling was not collected on Friday. I made it clear that it was at the curb before 11PM on Thursday with the trash (that was collected) so that I would not be told that "the driver came early and it was not out" as I had been told previously even though it had been out before midnight the night prior. (I wanted to be clear so that I would not be called a liar again). On Monday I received no return call from the message I had left for "Jamie is missed pickups" (yes, they have a special place to leave a message for this), so I called them and was told that it would definitely be collected that day and that they were sorry and that they had just "missed" our neighborhood. Monday night when I got home from dinner the neighborhood's recycling was still out by the curb so I called and left another message and clearly stated that I expected a call this morning. No call came, so I called them AGAIN and spoke to someone who wasn't sure why a truck didn't come blah, blah, blah..... It is now 5:17PM on TUESDAY when our pickup should have been FRIDAY and after 2 calls and 2 messages I stand in my kitchen cluttered with a sink full of recycling because the bin at the street is STILL THERE and OVERFLOWING with recycling. Maybe if I leave it out they will come THIS friday....

Customer of WM for several years. Switched to Cycle Works to support a locally owned company. In two months of service, I have had to call 4 separate times due to missed pickups on either garbage or recyclables. Even gave them an extra shot after the 3rd time within 5-6 weeks. When I called to day, the office supervisor acted like she couldn't care less. Obviously, I have spent way too much time trying to give them the opportunity to get it right. Going back to WM, at least they can be counted on to consistently pick up as scheduled.

I can not address the negative reviews. BUT, I can say that we have had Cycle Works for many years and the service is great. The CW truck always beats the Waste Management truck. CW is always careful with the containers and will pick up any spilled trash. CW even picked up an old lawn mower without a fee. We used to have WM, but CW beats them hand down.

About 3 years ago, my HOA got a deal with this company at a nice low rate that was supposed to be locked in for a few years. At first everything was as it should be, but then I noticed the rate going up b/c they were adding a whole bunch of "surcharges." I called them and they were rude and said nothing could be done so I called my HOA and they got the surcharges back down and everything was fine for awhile then it started happening all over again. Then, we got all that snow and ice for and they were unable to pick up and I called and asked the very RUDE girl if customers were going to still get charged for that week that they didn't come and her nasty reply was that they didn't give refunds. So now, I have had another company salesperson come to my door and signed up with that other company. Sooooo, I call Cycleworks and cancel my service. The young lady tells me that they will pick up their can and bin on Monday. They never show. I leave a message on Tuesday-no call back. I call once again on Wednesday and speak to yet another SNIDE girl and it is rescheduled for the next day. NO SHOW YET AGAIN! Guys and gals, this company doesn't care about your business and treats customers HORRIBLY! STAY AWAY!

A nice young man from a contracted company for CycleWorks to get new customers came knocking on our door. Lower price, and free bulk item pick up swayed our decision to switch to them. It's been exactly a month now, and after 4 phone calls,still no trash container, and just received a dirty, smelly recycle bin yesterday. Cancelled this 'new' provider today! If this is any indication of their service, I'd pass.

Two price increase in less than a year. Call them when the first increase occurred and they did not return my call. They offer low prices to get you to switch and then they raise their prices. December 2010 bill another increase. Searching for another company.

I would not recommend this service, Customer service? Hah, what customer service the CSR I spoke with was very rude, asked to speak with a manager, when I was on hold for more than 20 min. I finally hung up, called back asked to speak with the owner and he was rude as well. The service was horrid, got my trash picked up 5 times in 3 months. I do not recommend this service to any one.
