We recently brought in a bike to have serviced - just a tune up. The bike tech looked it over and said that we didn't need a tune up; the bike was in good shape. He said to save your money, and come back later. We will absolutely come back again. Thanks, Cycleworks!

It seems that Trek does not allow its retailers to discount the price of their bikes, so if you are looking for a Trek bike, look for good service and perhaps a discount on accessories. Cycleworks seems to be very willing to work with you on giving a good deal on accessories with a bike purchase. They also provide full service on any bikes and their mechanics seem knowledgable. They also have a quick turnaround on any repairs...they can usually fix your bike while you wait...good store.

I walked in with a broken seat and flat tire, they helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I thought the cost was $15 higher than it should have been for the seat but I got what I wanted when I wanted it (and got to ride my bike that day) so I guess it was worth it. They installed the tire and seat quickly.

These people treated me like a leper. I didn't know what the name of the part I needed was and the clerk just blew me off. I went to a shop for the personal touch and didn't get it. I did some research online and figured it out. Then I bought it online for a 60% discount to what they wanted... maybe he did help. I mean, he helped me save money... :)
