Finally found a good machine shop I trust. I was looking for an Engine Dyno for my first ever full engine build - a Ford FE. Donny and Andy were extremely knowledgable and personable. I called to talk with them a few times during my build to share ideas and listen their suggestions. This was all BEFORE I had any work done by them, I was just a random guy that kept calling and they never hesitated to help out or point me in the right direction. Once I brought the engine in to be run on their Dyno, I learned more about engines, different builds they've done, and the nuances of engine building just by swapping stories and listening to them. There were a few issues we encountered due to my novice building skills or incorrect parts,(loose rocker arm and valve float) but they caught them and knew how to correct them immediately before any damage to the engine occured. They were patient and took the extra time to answer every one of my questions. Even those not related to my build or my engine. These are two guys that know their stuff and enjoy what they do. I will use them for any future machine work and am currently recommending them to my buddies who are in the process of their own builds.

I had a 1.8L Toyota block and head I needed checked out and machined. They did a great job and made sure everything was in good shape and even had to have less to work done than expected! They also gave some tips on putting it back together. Great place. If you need engine machine work, this is the place to take it.

I needed a small metal piece built - insignificant to look at the old broken one - but integral to my overall project. D & A did a first class job in a more than timely manner and the price was more than right! I'd highly recommend them as they are professional, deliver the right product, are on time, and a pleasure with which to do business. While they typically take on much larger projects, I really appreciated them saving my day!

I was told about D&A Machine when looking for help building my Chevy 383 stroker. Donny and Andy did an excellent job on my engine. They were knowledgable, professional, reasonably priced, excellent at their craft and provided a fast turn around time on their work. They are obviously fantastic at what they do, but that is only the begining... Not only do they provide a great service but they are more than willing to take the time to help and offer advice. Never did I feel as if they were trying to "upsell" me on services I didn't need. They gave it to me straight and helped me decide on other aspects of my build. They basically educated me on my first serious engine build- ALL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! I called them several times throughout the build for advice and tips, and they were always there to help. Donnie and Andy certainly have the customers best interest in mind when they take on a project. They are simply the best, and I would recommend them with the highest regard. D&A Machine provides superior craftsmanship, knowledgable expertise and most of all they are willing to help in any way possible. If you need engine work, information or assistance, call them last--- That way you will truly understand how much better they are than any of the other guys! My Nova bleeds D&A Machine!

Smokey Yunick once said,"Best Darn machine shop in town!" I couldn't put it ant better when it comes to D & A Machine shop. They built my 305cid chevy motor for my 1989 panel van over a year ago and the thing is still very dependable and runs better I think than when I ist got it started! Donnie and Andy both are very knowlegeable with chevrolet and other domestic engines, as well as most import engine! From simple rebuilds to super mad monster hotrod and racinig stile engines these guys know their stuff and also have good prices! I plan on getting them to build my 302cid ford engine as well... Thank you for Donnie and Andy for help me get this old Van runnin like a scalded dog!
