D&M responded to our request for a price to rebuild a rickety deck and back wall of the house that suffered water damage as a result of poor construction when the house was built. We also asked them to remodel two bathrooms. They did an excellent job of everything we asked them to do. The work expanded into complete re-siding of the house with Hardi-plank (our choice to make sure everything match)and replacement of all windows with EnergyStar windows. We did not authorize the additional work until we saw the quality of work that D&M performed on the original scope. They did a fine job, their employees were diligent and courteous, and they took a pragmatic, "home owner's benefit" view whenever changes were identified -- some resulted from unforeseen conditions (e.g., rot in studs and supports due to the water damage) and others that were their suggestions to improve the quality and investment value in the house. When our budget did not allow us to do everything that we wanted to do, D&M worked with us to configure the scope so that we could accomplish as much as possible. They have since performed work for some of our neighbors and I have heard equally positive feedback from them. I would recommend them to anyone considering a home remodel. There were some schedule lapses, but they primarily resulted from weather, so we did not have any real complaints.
