A co-worker referred DKB Siding last fall when I was in the market to have aluminum installed on the roof overhang of our brick home. Received a call back that same evening and set up an appointment for the next afternoon, which the owner, Daniel Buschmann, arrived to right on time. Mr. Buschmann quoted as a one day job (beating closest contender by half a day) pricing aluminum right in line with the other estimates, plus a quote for vinyl somewhat less (which the other two hadn't mentioned). He then gives the quickest sales pitch ever advising me to do my homework, to call if he can be of help, and he's gone. Homework proved vinyl would hold up better in this area so naturally last longer, and makes a better insulator to boot. Meaning DKB Siding got the job. Small crew of three, with owner in tow, arrive 10 minutes early, proceed to quietly set up, and out of courtesy to our neighbors, didn't drive the first nail until after 9AM. Cleaning up as they worked their way around, performance/craftmanship professional all the way. I'm no saint and no offense intended, but I have to say what little shatter I overheard was all English and not a single foul word the whole time (Something the neighbors mentioned appreciating too). At 4PM sharp I was handed a bill with a brochure on vinyl replacement windows, and off they went. I've done my homework and once I have the dough I'll be calling DKB Siding back for a repeat performance. Thanks guys - the vinyl looks really great.
