I've been very pleased with Dr. D'Souza. He knows the technical end of medicine, but also has a great personal touch. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone in the Woodstock area who is looking for a Physician.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. D'Souza. He has treated myself and my family members. He is always friendly and makes you feel that your concerns are important. He bedside manner is wonderful. With so many giant medical groups where you feel like just a number I love the hometown feel that I receive when visiting Dr. D'Souza's office. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a primary care doctor.

I've seen Dr. D'Souza for several years and have always been very pleased. He recently left Towne Lake Medical/Wellstar and has started his own practice. With that move, he's been able to spend even more time at each appointment. Towne Lake needs more non-corporate medical services, and I encourage anyone who is looking for quality medical treatment to give him a try. You won't be disappointed. Phone number listed is his old practive. New one is 678-324-7406.

I started seeing Dr. D'souza in 2009 when he was with Wellstar of TowneLake/Woodstock. My medical needs were status quo (no major/ongoing health issues). In Spring 2010 I began experiencing horrible back pain on my right, lower side that seemed to get worse when I drank/ate. I quickly made an appt with D'souza. I told him that I suspected it was a kidney stone (I had never had one, but my mother had and our symptoms were similar). He examined me and did a urinalysis; which came back with "a high level of blood" in the urine. He prescribed an antibiotic and said return in 2 weeks. Three days later the pain was worse. He reluctantly "worked me in." He said he didn't believe it was a kidney stone (with a 5-minute physical exam, no other tests) and dismissed me (and my concerns/pain). I requested an imaging test but he said it wasn't necessary. Instead, he referred me to Rebound for physical therapy. I was baffled-- I did not have chronic back pain and it certainly wasn't a pulled muscle; my pain was concentrated and specific. No improvement 2 days later, I called again. He said there was nothing he could do and again referred me to Rebound PT; bizarre. I demanded to have a CT b/c I knew something was wrong, the pain was intense. He complied. The CT showed a large stone in the left kidney, right kidney, and urinary tract. AND, a gallstone 1/3 the size of my gallbladder. Thank goodness I trusted my gut (literally) and not D'souza-- the doctor who couldn't be bothered.
