We had an amazing reception!!! Food...Amazing! Staff...Superb!! I did not have to worry about the details they handled them all! The staff went out of their way to help me get the reception I always wanted without breaking my parents bank :) I have already recomended them to a couple of friends and my sister is getting married their in September and I am sure it will be just as great!

I had a Birthday/First communion party for my family at the DC Centre. They took the worry out of the entire event! The room was beautiful and the staff was on top of everything. We had a couple of family members that arrived late so we asked that they served the meal a little later. They did it without a second thought. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to hold an event to remember!!

Head count does go from 6 yrs and up, but because pop, tea, coffee and punch are included. So its not just for alcohol that they are paying... They account for everyone that is drinking regardless of WHAT they are drinking. I agree that it is very unprofessional that they argued in front of everyone. I find it weird that beer was not free. Any option that is purchased comes with free beer. I believe this is a beautiful place to have a reception. I just wouldnt because I know this place and know who and how its run... and I do not agree. That is all I will say!

I recently attended a wedding reception at the D C Centre. The alcohol was pre-paid but they were charging $2 a beer to all guests. The manager argued with the Bride, Groom, Mother of the Bride all at the head table for all the guests to see. It was so embarrassing and extremely unprofessional! The only way to remedy this was to give the manager an additional check. He based his head count of alcohol on guests ages 6 years old and up. Very unethical!!! This is a warning to all Brides and Grooms, if you rent this facility it could ruin your special day.
