Another scooping company just abruptly stopped cleaning for me with no notice or thanks for all my time with them. Dirty Work had great reviews everywhere I looked, I called them, and now I... understand why. They are the best! Everyone is friendly and helpful and they do a great job and are completely reliable. Love them!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Dirty Work Pooper Scooper Service has been such a lifesaver. Like others have commented, my previous cleaning company just disappeared one day. I am happy to say that I found Dirty Work as a result,... and I am so much happier with the quality of service and how they run things. They are super helpful, go the extra mile, and cheerily answer any questions I have had. Strongly recommend to others who need some help keeping their backyard "landmine free"VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

LOVE this service. We've used them for almost 3 years, and I have not had one single complaint. They are almost invisible in their work, except for the days that I forget to close the dog door and my 3 crazy dogs run out and catch them in the scooping act. Even then, our scooper is patient and calm with my barking dogs. Always very thorough, too... Wednesday is our "let's go play in the yard" day. Would highly recommend to anyone, as it is worth every penny and more to not worry about this task!
It's a shame some people use these anonymous reviews to take shots at great businesses, just because they can. Dirty Work Pooper Scooper is an awesome service, with even better people. For a whopping $12, they come out to my home, play with my dogs, leave some treats, and clean my entire yard of doggie landmines. It is perfectly cleaned for my kids to play in and for my lawn service (who always used to complain about the "piles"). I love them and recommend them to all my dog-owning friends.
Dirty Work has been cleaning our yard for years and we love their service. Last week we got a call that our dog was trying to dig out under the fence. That alone was so appreciated. But when I got home, I saw that our Pooper Scooper had dragged some downed limbs into the hole, and then gotten some large rocks and placed them on top. She's a petite person, and the job couldn't have been easy, but it was unbelievably sweet and appreciated.
UPDATE: I don't think it's unreasonable to request a bill for ACTUAL usage, not some average. Plus, I was NOT informed of this billing practice in advance and didn't see any mention of it on their website. Lastly, the actual cleaning service was subpar. My scoop most certainly was NOT pooped, and I shouldn't have to scour my yard every week to make sure that it was. I was initially impressed with Dirty Work. They were responsive and seemed to be on the ball. However, I found out that they weren't really cleaning my yard. One week I purposely left some poo to see if it would be removed -- nope, still there even after my yard was supposedly clean. They were very apologetic and gave me a credit for a cleaning. Later, I received the bill and was confused because they use some funky averaging technique, rather than simply bill me for the actual number of visits I had in the month. When I inquired about it, they gave me some bogus excuse about making sure the amount was the same each month. I told them that it didn't make sense and it was difficult to track (i.e., you would have a hard time knowing if they overbilled you). After questioning their billing practices, I guess they decided they did not want me as a customer and canceled my account. Truthfully, I don't think I'm missing out on much, since I'm not sure that their yard cleaning service was really that thorough. I will say though that they are very responsive. Just don't question their billing pr
Unfortunately we were never going to be able to satisfy this client. That upsets us, but is a reality, despite how hard we tried. We gave multiple free cleanings, called and emailed several times drastically after hours, sent people back out to clean for free -- but we were not able to keep her as a client despite all of our best efforts. I am sorry she felt so upset but she was not going to accept our flat monthly rate payment terms and we ran out of options that would give her satisfaction.
Not only have I used them for years personally, I also am always hitting them up for the Rescue group I work with. They are so giving -- they clean events for free for us, volunteer on adoption days and are always donating things to us. I absolutely cannot say enough about Dirty Work and the people there. You will never feel better about a service coming to your home and being around your pets and family than you will with them.
I started with Pooper Scoopers after surgery 10 yrs ago. Then realized I didn't miss this chore! My yard is cleaned regularly and thoroughly, rain or shine. A door hanger announces they were there.
I have been using Dirty Work since 1999, and I can't recommend them more highly. They do a great job, are friendly and professional - and very, very nice. My dogs can't wait for Cara to get in the yard so I can let them out to run and play with her while she cleans our yard! Some friends laugh at me for hiring a "pooper scooper" service, but the small amount I pay is so worth knowing that my dogs have a nice, clean yard. And I don't have to go out in the cold or rain to do it!
Thank you so very much. It is truly our pleasure to work with you :)
We have 2 dogs of our own plus one foster dog from a rescue. The fosters rotate in as they get adopted out, so we almost always have 3 dogs to clean up after. DirtyWork's employee (in my case Brian) is prompt, efficient and friendly to my dogs. Many of the rescue dogs are fearful or timid and he is kind and gentle with them if he comes into contact with them while on the job. My yard is clean and my dogs are happy. The icing on the poo-cake: they bill me to my Visa automatically. The DirtyWork People - particularly Brian - simply rock.
I hired Dirty Work when I was very pregnant with my first child, and bending down to pick up after my 3 dogs became a torturous chore. I have never once questioned their value since. They are always on time, and most days, I only know they've been here because of the nice "You've been scooped" notice and my perfectly clean yard. (Somehow they are much better at the cleanup than I ever was!) My toddler now benefits as well, as we can actually play in the yard! (Even if only for a couple of days per week before it starts getting "littered" again.) LOVE this service.
So, when I first got my boxer, I had never heard of a pooper scooper service--they didn't have that kind of thing when I was a kid...LOL! Dirty work has the nicest guy come out every Friday and he removes all the waste and then it's safe to walk in my backyard. Their service is great and they're super reliable!
Thank you for your review and kind words about Brian!
Dirty Work service is professional and reliable. I would highly recommend this company (and have) I now also have friends that are happy customers!
We have found Dirty Work Pooper Scooper Service to be a great company. We would highly reccommend them.
With multiple dogs and a small backyard, we would be in deep "doo-doo" without Dirty Work. We are long time happy clients and believe that the service they provide is a real bargain. We think they rate TEN stars!
