I worked with two lawyers for my divorce. Ended up hiring Danny Coleman's law firm to finish up the case after a disagreement with my first lawyer. I was impressed with the Coleman firm's ability to pick up the case and finish it quickly. I would use them again if needed.

Why do I say this? I have been to see them twice for second opinions (two unrelated issues) just to learn I was being told the wrong things by other less experienced lawyers. In both situations I did not have to hire anyone, these people gave me a free consultations and saved me from wasting thousands in attorneys fees.

I used this firm for a no contest divorce. I am very happy with the result and service. Did not have to go to court and I was divorced fast. I tried to do the divorce paperwork myself, but that was a bad idea. Another firm I went to treated me like they did not want my business. Coleman took the time to listen to me about what I needed. I think it is important to work with someone you feel comfortable with even if they are not the cheapest.

Hired for very simple uncontested divorce case. Communication was non-existent. I never received a status, I always had to email to get information, which they then charged me for responding to. Basic communication should be provided. They never even notified me when the divorce was final. Charges were outrageous.

Mr. Coleman is the most personable attorney I've ever met. He takes the time to actually understand those he is representing - it's not just a case. I've read (here) that some do not like his informal method, and the extra time he takes so that you know him and he you - personally. To me, and my case... this made all of the difference. If you're looking for a bad-ass who deals with the law and disregards the people, Mr. Coleman might not be your man, but if you want A professional who takes the time to understand and help YOU MAKE THE BEST DECISIONS (during a time in your life when things a probably quite confusing...) I don't think you could find anyone better tham Danny Coleman.

Stay away from this attorney as he is a major headache! I retained him for my divorce case In January to no avail. First, he never communicates with you after the initial consult. He uses his paralegal stating this is more cost effective. After I fired Mr. Coleman (in October) and sought advice from different attorneys, I was advised no attorney should have their paralegal talk to the client about his/her case. That is "ridiculous". Secondly, Mr. Coleman never fully explained my parenting plan, child support worksheet or advised I had to attend a mandatory parenting class before my divorce was finalized. Third, his office communication skills are beyond awful to say the least. When my wife's attorney attempted to call him numerous times he never returned calls and his office ever told them I was not rep by their office after I signed the let of rep!! Fourth, his billing practice has flaws in it as well. On a few occasions I had to dispute my bills I was receiving because they failed to give me credit on a past bill/payment etc. Finally, Mr. Coleman did answer my phone call/emails when I terminated him but it was too late then. Mr. Coleman will continue to bill you and do nothing on your case if you let him. To make matters worse my divorce case was simple with the only issue being child support owed. Thank God I terminated this clown! I also made a formal complaint to the State Bar of Georgia and Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs. His BBB rating is "F".

They did a very good job with my divorce. At first I tried to do the case my self, but ended up meeting with and hiring Sarah to make sure everything was done correctly. She helped me alot with what the other lawyers I talked to did not understand. Dont take legal advice from your friends. Hire a good lawyer. I am glad I did.

I was having really hard times with my wife this year, and it came that we decided to divorce. I was worried that she would take everything we had and our son. Dan and Sarah helped get me the through this time. It was convenient because the office was very close to my work. I'm very happy with how my divorce turned out. I can afford to pay my child support, and I have enough time with my son.

My wife and I were in the midst of a bankruptcy and needed some advice about switching to a Chapter 13. I spoke with Danny personally over the phone and responded to Danny's seemingly sincere invitation for free consultation to assess our needs. After a few minutes we realized that a 13 was not going to work and were ready to thank him and move on. We attempted to leave a few times but Danny kept talking about personal experiences and non-relevant items to the point where I was getting very frustrated. After an hour and a half we were finally able to leave. Now all the excess verbiage is clear. He is billing us for one hour of his time at $275. His blatant unethical practice of prolonging a consultation so he could get paid is reprehensible. Especially at a time when we can least afford it. This is intended to warn anyone who would consider an attorney who will kick you when you are down.

When I look at all the negative complaints I am aghast that Danny Coleman has an overall rating of 4 stars. HOW CAN THAT BE??? Danny talked and talked ... and talked during my husband and I's consultation. I wouldn't have minded if he was addressing our cares and concerns but seemed to talking for talkings sake. Now I understand why. I have a bill from his office for over $250.00 and as I read the fine print on the "Free Consultation Information Sheet" it says, first 30 minutes free. It makes sense now and is all the more upsetting. We realized within 20 minutes that this would not be a good fit (that's what consultations are for) but he dragged out the appointment so he could bill us for his time. He will be forever etched in my memory as your typical "take advantage of you" attorney. Don't use Danny or risk being taken advantage of.

I am writting this review to say thank you again for all your help, advice and work in helping to get rid of a bad business partner claim on my home. I was impressed with your office's professionalism and concern for me as your client. I wanted to say thank you for your prompt responses and keeping me informed as the situation developed. Thanks for calling me in the office to explain how we needed to coordinate everything with the mortgage company, and following through so quickly. If I ever have or hear of anyone who might need legal help in the future I will be sure to recommend your office! Thanks again for everything. I truly wish you and your staff the best in the future!

They represented me for a straight-forward Ch.7. Quoted $2000 and it finally ended at $3547. My attorney (not Danny Coleman) had very little knowledge and would say often "I don't know, let me ask Danny". I would then be billed for asking her the question and then get billed again for her asking Danny. This happens A LOT! Duplicated billings ie. they will ask about your finances from a standard questionnaire, then someone will call for a telephone interview and ask you the exact same questions. And yes you are billed twice for this. The attorney they "contract" to represent you during your 341 hearing is rude and not helpful ex. I had an attorney show up to mine from one of my accounts. She had a reaffirmation for me to sign. I had to find this "contract" attorney to ask her about it and she said "I am only here to represent you for the hearing" she then turned her back on me and walked away. I continued to receive billings and had emailed my attorney to discuss this excessive billing. 3 weeks later after no response I call to make an appt to pay my bill. I find out that she long ago left the firm and I have a different attorney. Yes I was charged for this visit (I was billed to pay my bill). When I told the firm about the 341 attorney and her rudeness...they laughed! RUN as far away from this firm as possible...they are predators! Quoted $2000 Actual $3547

I have been using Attorney Coleman's law firm and services since 2005. Very satisfied, and find it hard to beleive any honest reasonable person would have any problems with their services. Mr. Coleman has even went so far as to come by my business and home on weekends to help execute documents and move things forward -- and only charged half what I would have expected. The rates are ver reasonable; I know a few others that have had a good experience also that I referred to him.

I can highly recommend this law office for divorce work and bankruptcy. I had both, first the divorce, and then the bankruptcy. Their rates were a little higher than I had seen other places, but their offices and service was a lot better than my previous divorce attorney. And they were a lot closer since I live in Roswell. Mr. Coleman had me come in every weekend for a month to work on my case uninterrupted. Mr. Coleman were recommended to me by my uncle, who did a business case using him. My ex-husband had signed my name to several credit cards and when his mortgage business went bad - he could not pay the credit card bills and they started threatening to bring me too Court. My divorce case worked out good and the bankruptcy was discharged a few weeks ago with no problems.
