I am from an area of the country that doesn't hold dental care at a high regard. I was never scolded or looked down upon by the staff or the Dentists at Kimche Cosmetic & Sports Dentistry for my... dental ignorance. They are compassionate caregivers. I would recommend this practice to everyone!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I had a toothache, and was seen right away, OMGosh!. The Staff was GREAT and The Doctor was awesome. So professional and was very kind. She explained all of my options and I picked one that would work for me, Highly recommend this office!!!
Dr. Kimche and her staff are very nice at first, until there is a problem. I had a cavity filled and in the process my jaw was so strained that it was locked on one side. When I called to find out what to do, Dr. Kimche prescribed antibiotics because "the numbing agent can settle into the joint and the antibiotic would push it on out". I knew better, but tried the antibiotic. I had a severe allergic reaction for 7 days, I never spoke to the Doc, but someone in her staff insisted that my reaction was not due to the medication. The allergic reaction was not necessarily her fault, but her handling of the situation was terrible. Oh, and my jaw was STILL locked. It took repeated trips to the chiropractor to work it out. Also, I've just seen my new dentist and he says that I now need a crown because she took off more that 80% of my tooth. Thanks for the memories Dr. Kimche!
Dr Kimche and her staff are sooo service oriented!I felt like I was treated as a person and not a seat filler! Way to go!
I have been seeing Dr Kimche for almost 20 years. Being terrified of the dentist, she has always been patient with me and taken the time to put me at ease. She has always made time to fit me in when a dental emergency comes up. My children have also been patients since they were five years old. She has been terrific with them as well. More patient than any pediatric dentist they have seen before. I can't say enough good things about her. She has never failed me or my family. Great dentist with a great staff!!!
It has been 1 year since I last saw Dr. Kimche, and I am now having to have 2 of the 3 fillings she did replaced because, as my new dentist puts it, "The work is shoddy. The fillings are food traps because there is essentially no contouring, and these fillings are so big and poorly done you will probably need crowns." The x-rays show right angles and big, blocky fillings. More importantly, 4 weeks after my fillings from Dr. Kimche, I wound up with splitting pain in my lower gums under one of the teeth she filled. I was unable to sleep, and I missed 3 days of work. I went back to Dr. Kimche, and she proceeded to replace the filling with an even larger filling. She gave me loads of anesthetics, but I was still in pain during the procedure. After sending me to an endodontist because she decided I may need a root canal, the endodontist said it was likely an infection. Turns out (as a dental student friend of mine was able to tell me), anesthetics don't work with there is an infection, hence all the pain during the filling. After 3 days on antibiotics, the infection cleared and I was able to return to work. There is no way to prove she was responsible for the infection, but I will say that I've had quite a bit of dental work done and have never had that problem. I will be reporting Dr. Kimche to the ADA; depending on the cost of the work I'll have redone, I may look into a lawsuit. I would never recommend Dr. Kimche to anyone.
I can always count on a warm and inviting staff that are very knowledgable. My mouth always sparkles!
I went to Dr. Kimche and she did not make me aware of how much dental work I needed after xrays and exam. Im now having to get 5000.00 of dental work done. I now have a dentist that takes pride in my smile and health.
My partner and I both had really good experiences here. Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel like any services were pushed on me like some dentists will do. I know I need more work but I can't afford it right now. Dr. Kimche and her staff were very understanding of that.
The office is very high-tech and cozy-comfortable at the same time. The only downsides are (1) you have to pay upfront every time and get reimbursement from your insurance later, (2) there is a $15 non-covered fee that you pay every time because they say they use disposable instruments in your mouth.
Dr. Kimche and her staff make even the most taxing dental work as stress free as possible. They're professional, friendly, flexible and very attentive to patient needs.
In addition to being a great dentist, Dr. Kimche has a super staff. From the receptionist through the hygienists, all are polite and friendly, and there isn't the turnover you see in other offices. Obviously she treats her staff as well as she treats her patients. In 7+ years I have never had to wait more than a few minutes, had an appointment mix-up, or experienced a billing error. A stress-free dentist - now how rare is that?
