Consider the Costs...
I own commercial real estate and I have used Davey numerous times over the last 10 years - at my business and at my home. I have always gotten at least three estimates for each job, and Davey was almost always the lowestuntil recently.
For some reason, the last couple of estimates have been close to double what the next closest estimate/competitor was. For me, that is not acceptable.
I will say that they have always done a good job (though I have had to wait for several weeks for a job to be completed before). But, for me, that doesn't justify exorbitant service fees. If you are a consumer who doesn't care about cost, and you are only concerned about using a dependable company, then I can recommend Davey to you. But, if cost is an issue for you, then I think you will find a better value with some other reputable tree removal/maintenance companies.
