Davey Tree Expert Company

Davey was sent by SDG&E to trim a tree on our property. All our trees had been professionally trimmed a few months ago, but they said they had orders & immediately began cutting on a small tree. When we objected, they cut a large chunk out of the middle of the tree & left. No attempt was made to shape the tree & it looks terrible. I don't know if they did it for spite, or if the cutter was just incompetent, but I certainly will not take a chance on them when we hire a service for our next tree trim.

This is a completely professional, yet friendly group. Everything they did was explained and they were open to questions during the total process of pruning a huge pine tree. This crew really works - no lounging around. They arrived on time, and got right to work up in the tree. Bundles of branches were carried each trip out to the truck - none of the one small branch in each hand stuff. My special plants were protected from falling branches, and clean-up was excellent. This tree pruning was a very large job, and it was done beautifully and at a reasonable rate. I will be using Davey Tree for the next project I have, and strongly recommend the firm.

Davey Tree did a great job. I had a steep hill with four huge diseased oleander and some smaller ones, along with a very large pepper tree and podocarpus that needed shaping badly and had lots of dead branches.

Adam & Ed were very professional and did a fabulous job. Everything was immaculate afterwards. I was very pleased that they were able to remove the large diseased oleander and still save all of my bougenvellia that was a canope on top. They were extremely friendly and we enjoyed their conversations.
I would highly recommend Davey Tree and will only use them in the future. Thank you. Deb & Jim

We had Davey Tree remove 4 enormous sycamores that were causing damage to concrete, sprinklers, lawns, and drains. They were courteous and professional. From our initial use of the website and our phone call to the inspection and estimate to the final removal, everything was excellent. Our questions were answered with clear advice. Our concerns were heard. For example, we considered removing a 5th tree and some extra roots, but the Davey Tree Field Representative explained that the damage to sod and shrubbery wouldn't be worth it. The work was done meticulously with protection of our surrounding landscape. There was absolutely no mess left, including no oil spots left on the street or sidewalks. The cost was higher than some smaller operations, but it was certainly worth it. A+!

Our canary island palm and pepper tree were trimmed to perfection! Everyone in the company was courteous, on time, and a nice surprise very tidy. They cleaned everything upwe are very pleased. Colin and his crew rocks!

They are a fantastic service! We have used Davey in the past and always happy with the results. The two man crew on July 22 had 6 palm trees trimmed and "slicked" in less than 2 hours. They were on time, and left the area around the palm trees cleaner than when they arrived. Great job!
