We purchased my daughters wedding dress in January 2007 for a September 1, 2007 wedding. We did as they instructed took the dress back in July for alterations. When my daughter went for the fitting after the initial alterations they had taken too much material off the dress, at that time we were told it could be fixed. Again we went back on August 8, 2007 not only did the dress still not fit the underlayment was bunched up the beads were falling off and the dress was still 2 inches to small. We we bought the dress it was to big. Davids Bridals people DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MEASURE!!! No the dress is destroyed, they can not find the same dress to start over again, so here we are 3 weeks from the wedding and my daughter had to pick out another dress, (and on such short notice we had to make sure this dress did not need alot of alterations) The replacement dress though nice is in no way as beautiful as the original dress they DESTROYED!!!! The 2nd dress was less money than the first dress and when I asked to have my account credited for the difference I was told "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" IT DID NOT MATTER TO THE PEOPLE AT THE STORE OR THE STORE MANAGER THAT THIS ENTIRE MESS WAS THEIR MISTAKE. THEY HAVE NOT TRIED TO MAKE ANY OF THIS RIGHT!! ALL THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT IS THEIR MONEY. I am still fighting to get the difference credited to my account. I SINCERELY HOPE NO ONE GOES THERE FOR ANY EVENTS ESPECIALLY A WEDDING!!! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!
