My mother had set up her final arrangements and prepaid them in advance. She made her final payment 5 or 6 years prior to her death. Her reasoning was she didn't want her family to have to deal with anything when she passed. Everything was paid in full and her plans very specific. She wanted to be cremated and no memorial service at all. After her passing Davis was called. While going over all the arrangements with family members Davis staff had said that since there was to be no memorial service my mother had over paid by $250 and the family had a refund coming. Then the Davis Staff left the room and came back in a few minutes saying that my mother had failed to pay for her vault to be opened and closed. That was going to be an additional $300. They wanted an additional $300 so some yard worker with a screw driver could remove 4 screws. They also said that they required 2 signatures from the family to cremate the body. My sister had signed at the time the plans were set up and my brother signed when reviewing final arrangements. They said my sister's signature was no longer any good since it had been signed years ago. I had to fly in from Michigan to sign for the cremation and to write them a check for $78 to cover the opening of the vault Davis Funeral Home is run by a bunch of Hacks. Very unprofessional and all they are looking for is to squeeze as much money out of you as they can. If you deal with Davis Funeral Home you will never be able to rest in peace.

Very professional service. The staff at Davis made dealing with difficult decisons easy. They were very compassionate and assisted us in making arrangements that were classy and respectful. The grounds are very well taken care of too.
