A Family Wall That Shines
Working with Dawn Kacey has been WONDERFUL!
Dawn took our plain family room wall and designed a fabulous stone front built out. At every meeting Dawn arrived on time took copious notes and emailed us the talking points within a 24 hour period. Dawn made sure to oversee every aspect of our project leaving us feeling secure with respect to the job being done right. Dawn met with contractors/vendors and made sure to put the needs of her clients first as observed through contract negotiations and project management.
We now have a family room that shines with a 55” television, contemporary fireplace, lighted glass shelving and plenty of cabinet storage below. Audiovisual equipment is discretely tucked away while technology in need of charging is done behind closed doors on slide out shelves. Dawn’s ability to clearly communicate our vision with contractors and professional work ethic proved to be invaluable. We will definitely look to Dawn Kacey Design for future projects.

Incredible sense of color, proportion and design!
Working with Dawn was a complete pleasure. We required both a bathroom remodel and finishing touches to each of our rooms in our new home. Dawn has an incredible ability to balance the practical with the aesthetic in a variety of styles and approaches, all within our fixed budget. Thank you Dawn for truly making our home special!

Turned my vision into reality!
My husband and I had been struggling for 3 years with how to arrange and decorate our great room. We have two dogs and a small child, so we wanted the room to look good, but we needed it to be practical. Dawn came in, asked terrific questions about how we use the room, evaluated the style of the rest of our house, and offered amazing guidance so that the room is now beautiful and functional. Dawn was very flexible when it came to our ideas and budget. She was always prompt for meetings and highly responsive to email and voicemail. She will be my go-to design resource for all of my future projects.

Dawn's the Best!
My husband and I bought a house that needed a completely new kitchenwe had some ideas, but didn't know how to translate those ideas into a design plan. We called Dawn and she took care of everything for us--she listened to what we wanted and came up with several different design options. She worked quickly and professionally and we will definitely be hiring her again for other projects!!...

Simply the Best!
Dawn came to us by way of referral just as we were breaking ground on our new home in Prime Hook Beach, DE. Neither of us had ever built a house before and were a little intimidated by the process. Dawn’s guidance was invaluable. She was patient and practiced at guiding us through a maze of decisions. I was having a hard time finding just the right furniture for our living room. She found it at this great furniture store nearby where we ended up totally outfitting our living room plus finished off the dining room as well. It was the perfect look that both Joe and I loved. The more time I spend with Dawn the more I’ve come to appreciate her impeccable taste, eye for color and her talent for injecting the unexpected into her designs. She was a delight to work with.
