I have shopped at The Dekalb Farmers arket for several years and it seems like the people that work there are just getting plan nasty. Half of them barely speak english and just don't care. The produce is good for the price and the baked goods are very nice.

I drove to the DeKalb Farmers Market, which is nearly 20 miles from my home, and they had no ribs for the BBQ I'm giving. The man behind the counter told me they would not have any ribs today and to call to see when I could get some. I called when I got home and THEY TOLD ME TO COME RIGHT OUT because they had plenty. My friend was with me and was just as appaled as I was. Good luck. You'll need it.

DFM treats their customers as if they are lucky to shop there. It does have very good fish, herbs/spices and the largest cheese selection in Atlanta. The fruits and veges are OK and offer some exotic options but day-to-day purchases are on par with Publix or Whole Foods. The rest, (dairy, wine/beer, bakery, packaged goods) is average. An OK option but the poor service drives it down.

I shop here every week, and am always pleased with the incredible selection and great prices. organic fruit and veg cheaper than conventional elsewhere, and the fresh bakery goods are wonderful.

GREAT variety of produce! Stuff you never even knew existed. The prices are good, and the quality is much better than the typical grocery store. Also, it's a great place to purchase bulk items like spices, herbs, sesame sticks, sunflower seeds, nuts, etc. It can be an absolute madhouse and it's one of the coldest (and sometimes stinky) stores, but no place is perfect.

This is always a fun place to go to see a wide variety of people and to find the freshest and most varied produce selection. The wine selection is also good and the seafood is excellent. Well worth the visit. Weekends can be a little crazy.

Dekalb is the best place to buy organic produce and meat. The food is much fresher and less expensive than other markets. They also have a hot food bar where you can purchase dinner for the evening. The only downside is the large crowd on the weekends.

You can find items that are hard to find any where else. I also enjoy going to the market. They have a huge selection and the prices are good, you just have to do your homework to make sure you are getting the best prices.

If you are looking for a hard-to-find food product, this is the place to go. They have a great produce/meat selection, lots of teas/coffees/wines/beers - pretty much anything you'd ever want. Weekdays are best - fewer crowds.
