We have been patrons at defazios for years, and have seen the place really go down hill. The last few times we have been there the food has been "tolerable"if that, so you try again and its worse... the prices are way to high for the quality of food, the serving size, and the service you get. the last time we went, the food was cold when they served it and we never saw the waitress again, we even had to go to the register to get our ticket. They don't even ask anymore if "everything was alright" guess their tired of the response "no". Bad food, bad service, bad prices.

Look no further. If you've never eaten at DeFazios, you have to try it. Not only do they have the best pizza around, but everything on their menu is great. Some of the servers have been there for years and everyone is very friendly. Try the sausage manicotti and be sure and order the Italian salad.

great place for a date ! they have all the desserts there to greet you when you walk in and the three course meal is amazing no matter what you pick . its service is what makes it so outstanding
I've given this restaurant 2 or 3 tries, and it has yet to impress me really...it's decent food and the service is okay, but it didn't stand out as a place that I'd like to come back to again and again....for the money, there are better italian restaurants in town.

I don't get to DeFazio's nearly often enough, though I live on the West Side. It's a bit difficult to locate if you're unfamiliar with the neighborhood. The food, however, is extremely good. I generally stick to veal dishes of straight pasta. Sandwiches can be iffy, as they tend to be extremely oily due to their topping. Still, they're quite good.
