I took a lawnmower here for general maintenance (tune-up, blade sharpening, etc). After a few weeks of not hearing from anyone, I called and was told they were very busy and it would be ready in a couple of days. Needless to say, it was not ready after another week. I called again and was told that a part had been broken, during the repair and they are trying to find the part. I was offered a loaner until the repair was done. I said it was fine, I could use a friend's mower. I continued to call, but each time was given one excuse after the other. Finally, after calling on September 22, about 10 weeks after taking it in, I had enough excuses. I told the repairman that I need a definite answer about my mower and no more excuses, it had been much too long. He yells at me and says that I brought him a mower that was not working at all and he does not know when he will get it done. I told him that is a lie and why is his story so different at this time. I told him that I will come to get my mower and he says that if he has to put the mower back together, he is going to charge me $35.00. I said to him for what, breaking my mower. How much business sense, does that make? This guy is a liar and I will recommend not ever take anything there for repair. Never!!

As a homeowner, I have had numerous opportunities to rent tools; ditch witches, wood splitters, nail guns, soil aereators, paint sprayers - just to mention a few. I have found all that I needed at Dekalb Tool Rental. The folks there are nice and help you learn how to use what you have rented. IO have found that I needed to call them and ask questions over the phone - they are patient and knowledgeable. Best of all-they are reasonable in price.
