Prior to visiting this clinic, I spoke with a representative to verify my insurance was in network. He made me an appt. three weeks out. When arriving at the appt. I was then notified that my insurance was out of network. I told them that I had verified it was in network and that I wouldn't be responsible for any remaining balance that my insurance did not cover. I was told that I would be billed and so it was decided that I wouldn't see the doctor. I called my insurance company and was told that the doctor was in network and she spoke with the office and they told her to have me come back in to see the doctor. After walking all the way back across the hospital again, I was told the doctor had left for the day and that she had an appt. available on Monday at 2:40. I called Monday to come back to see the doctor but told them I expected to be compensated for the 3 hours sick time for Friday, my gas and parking fees since apparantly there office is so unorganized that they don't know what insurances that they are in network with. I was called back and told that I could not see the doctor till I spoke with the administrator. I told them that the situation had nothing to do with me being treated by the doctor. I received another call a half hour later stating that they notified my insurance that they no longer wanted to be in there network. My insurance stated that the clinic wanted them to call and ask me not to come to the appt.
