Why do people wonder why Delta is in banruptcy?, 3/01/2007

Delta is horrible ... their employees are unhappy and it shows in the quality of their service. Yet, they FIGHT a takeover from another airlines??? Are you kidding me? I have signed-up with two... smaller carriers and love the service. I may pay more, but the seats are bigger and the ground and air crew are friendlier than Delta's staff. Unless I win a freebie, I will not be flying Delta.

St. Thomas trip a bust because of Delta

Pushed the one and only flight off the island up about an hour without notice so by the time I got to the airport the plane was gone. While the customer service folks were sensitive to my plight, I still had to "fork" over some big bucks to fly another airline back to the US- My compensation- a 250.00 voucher or 10000 sky miles- yipee

I Like Delta

While I respect the opinion of those who choose to grumble about Delta, I must say that in 20+ years of frequent business travel, primarily on Delta, I have yet to be disappointed by Delta. I've been treated like a valued customer. While I've only seen one or two instances of Delta employee's treating a customer badly, I've seen scores of instances of simply boorish behavior on the part of passengers - who should have been made to ride on the wings. Thank you Delta - for taking me where I need to go and home again safely. And thank you for providing well-paying jobs to my friends and neighbors.

This company as realy been fall down in the last couple of years. If you are looking for a good proce go to airtran. But delta does have better services.

worst ever

I got stuck in Vegas an extra day, called Delta the next AM to schedule a flight back to ATL, the agent said I could take the same flight I had the previous night at 12:15am that night so I could have the whole day in Vegas, she said call within 3 hours of flight and only $25 change fee, I called at 9:30pm and was told because the flight was 15 minutes into the next day it would be $464 to change. I'll take a donkey next time before I fly Delta

Problematic airline...

From their higher fares, to their lower customer service, it's no wonder Delta is in bankrupcty. Management still needs a wake-up call and change their business practices.

It used to be better....

I travel often, and I was very excited to move to Atlanta since Delta is big here but I was a little bit dissapointed. I know it is difficult to operate the airline industry profitably, but I wish their customer service is more sincere and friendly. I try to find other airlines (e.g. Air France, British, Lufthansa etc)instead.

delta needs to reform! poor service poor prices

if you wanna pay a lot for attitude, bad customer serivce, flight delays and bad food! i have experienced so many problems with this company. they have no respect for the customer and the customer service is awful!!!! fly air tran or something else!!!

Downhill

More and more frustrations with Delta staff and customer service (or lack thereof). There doesn't seem to be any loyalty, which is a leadership issue. I hope they can overcome this for Atlanta's economy's sake (doesn't seem likely)!

Delta still does not get it...

OK, Gold Medallion here...not the lowest level, not the highest, but I fly a lot...today I need a ticket to Frankfurt for May...if I stay 7 days Biz class is $2,500..If I stay 5 days, same ticket is $7,500..Jeez what is with these Simplifares??? Oh well..Luftansa here I come..

Worst run business in America!

Where do I start? Can I give ZERO stars?? I was doing backflips with joy the day Delta declared bankruptcy. Whatever we get after bankruptcy has to be better than what we have had. I am a frequent business traveler. Traveled every single week. And I can say with total accuracy that I have been on at least 50 consecutive Delta flights that were 20+ minutes late or more. In fact, I can't remember the last Delta flight I was on that was on time. What other business can you think of that can get away with repeatedly taking your money and then NEVER holding up their end of the deal. HOORAY FOR BANKRUPTCY!

fine if they dan keep it together

I fly Delta and Airtran most often. They are interchangable most times as far as rates go and both are decent transportation for the price.
