I was quoted a price of $75 to install a dishwasher. Made an appt to have installed. Technician was 5 hours late, then upped the charge to $95. This after paying $35 for him to look at my broken dishwasher and tell me that it would be $250 to fix. I wasted a whole day waiting for Herman to show up only to get overcharged.

As allways we would like to thank you for your business, and yes you wer quoted a $75 cost to install your dishwasher with you furnishing all materials needed, but as explained to you by the repairman and you know this that you did not have the hook up kit, and this was the added twenty dollas. For the $75 dollars we removed and hauled away the old dishwasher and installed the new one for this cost. The $35 to look at the broken dishwasher was done two weeks before as we advised her not to repair the old one and put her money into a new one. We were not late she had told the repairman that she would be home until 2:30pm and said that any time from 9:ooam til then would work and we were in and out before 2pm. All we ask is please state facts and if you will bring us a hook up kit for a dishwasher we will give you the $20 dollars back. Again thank you for your business and we will go the extra mile to make you happy.
I called Delta Appliances around 9 am, and Herman said he could be here around noon that same day which I thought was great. He didn't get here until 4:00 (he called when he was on his way) which was frustrating, but once he got here, he quickly fixed our problem and only charged us $ 75. (unstopped our drain and cleaned and drain area) I would use Delta Appliances again.

As with all our customers and this one we thank you for your business.
Herman came out to fix my fridge. It was a simple fix and he only charged me 18$. Even after the fix, he noticed some other wires that could be replaced, he replaced those for free. We also went on a wild goose chase around my house looking for a breaker. Long story short, Herman went out of his way to help me and made sure I understood the problem. As someone who used to manage rental properties, I've dealt with countless appliance repair companies, this is by far the best I've seen, so much so that I signed up here at kudzu just to leave this feedback. Oh yeah forgot to mention, I called these guys late in the afternoon and they still showed up same day! Go with these guys for sure.

Thank you for your business
Showed up to look at a dish washer, said they would need to order parts and would call me. Never did. Reasonable change for a visit, poor follow through. If you, Delta, want me to fax you the receipt I will do so when I dig it up and you can tell me what follow up action was taken. I was told I would be contacted with a quote for parts, as I obviously had a broken dishwasher... and I wasn't, and I wasn't interested in pursuing you for my business.

Sir we did not vanish we are here answering calls every day and servicing customers there is no truth to this review had we ordered a part we would have taken a deposit as he made no mention of that so if you say we ordered a part for you than call us and we will give you three times your money back and we will do the repair free or if you have had it done than we will refund you that too only if you can show a receipt for parts ordered to prove we did you wrong, and we ask that you please call us. And please come back to this review and let every one know the out come. We do thank all of our customers for their business. (update)As of 11-7-11 we have not heard from this guy but he did update the above and said when he dig up his receipt that he does not have and never had as this did not happen as he said it did. We do thank you for thinking about us.
I'm the mom of a smelly although loveable 16 year old. Tuesday night after football practice, my washer stopped working. I went to Angies list and they wanted 29/year - ouch!! So went to Kudzu and found that Delta Appliance was highly rated by consumers! They came the same day and the repairman worked to try not to sell me a part, but it turned out I needed one. My cost was probably half what I would pay for Sears - and best of all the repairman was honest, on time, and fixed my washer the first time.

I had purchased a gasket for my fridge and tried to install myself. It seemed easy but it wasn't making a good seal and I guess I didn't install correctly. I call on a Sunday and Herman was there answering the phone. Not normal for the company, but he agreed to come out on Sunday. He completely reinstalled the gasket and now it appears to be working fine. Price was EXTREMELY reasonable for labor and on short notice. Thank you Herman!

From being hours late to an appointment to then having unauthorized work done on our refrigerator it was a TERRIBLE experience. He said it would be $35 to diagnose the problem and we could go from there. So my wife (who was at home) calls me around 230 in the afternoon wondering why that the charge would be $135. Both of us were dumbfounded about, neither of us discussed what Delta would do or what it would cost!! After arguing with their tech for 30 minutes we ended up paying the original $35. He didn't have the part to suck the refrigerant back out of it that day so he said he'd come back the next day--give me a break, really?? We let the fridge run for almost two full days--their repair did not work--spoiled meats and all. We had to purchase a new fridge. He called and texted me a dozen times trying to get me to send him a photo of our new fridge thinking that we jipped him, what complete jerks. I sent him a photo of the receipt and the fridge that we purchased the day after their "repair" and I still get texts!

We do appreciate you and your business but we were not late he had a window from 11am till 1pm and we got there at 1230pm. We put a leak sealer in this refrigerator and added freon to see if it would hold and it did and he was charge only $85 not $135 as he stated and after cursing our repairman out we decied to give him the job for $35 dollars, what more could we do. The refrigerator was fixed and if you notice his statement he said he ran the refrigerator for two days but on down in his statment he said he purchased one the next day. When our tech got there we discoveed that he had worked on this refrigerator himself. But as allways we will do our best to make a customer happy but this one nothing we could have done would have made him happy. We do thank you for your business
I had a washing machine that was knocking around on the spin cycle and Herman spent 20 min trying to diagnose the problem b/c it wasn't the usual things that happen to washers of that age. He was so friendly & knowledgable, and his service call price was very reasonable for how much time he put in. The inner drum had separated & he said it was probably cheaper to buy a new one than fix an 11-year old machine, but I will definitely call him if I have other problems down the road. Thanks, Herman!

I used this company after researching them on Kudzu. The technician, Hermann was great. He diagnosed and solved the problem the same day. He also put in a new motor for no extra charge because he had not included that in his original quote. I will use them again and will recommend them to my friends.

Five months ago when Herman first came to my house I never would have thought I would be writing this review. He spent over an hour with me diagnosing 2 separate issues and charged me a reasonable fee for his visit. He left me with a path to resolution on one issue and he took the other appliance with him to fix. He assured me at the time that I could trust him and he wouldn't run off with my item - this hadn't occurred to me until he said it, but apparently it was a red flag. I've spent the last 4 months trying to get my item back. I'm told that he has it and that its been fixed, but I'm finding this harder and harder to believe as the days go on. He has told me on multiple occasions that he is going to get it to me "today" and that he's going to call me, but he never does. When I told him that I wasn't sure he even had it , he offered to take a picture and text it to me, but has yet to send me anything. I'm sure he will write a rebuttal to this review that is full of excuses, but the reality is that I've been VERY patient and he continues to let me down. I will update this review if I ever see my appliance again, although I'm not holding my breath. Buyer, beware! **UPDATE** I guess I should have written this review months ago. I finally got my item back, at 10:30pm (no thats not a typo) 2 business days after I posted my review. It seems to be working properly.

Did not show up 4 sched appt. After waiting 3 hs on a Sat, the guy said he didn't need 2 come because he knew it was a computer board on our Samsung Dishwasher- but he never saw - only going on what was told, and couldn't order parts til Mon. He said would order 1st thing Monday A.M. Called them noon on Mon, & didn't have answer. He called back 2 hrs later, and said needed correct model number - hmm, could have got that on the diagnosis call on Saturday that was skipped. He called back later saying that there are no parts referenced for our DW anywhere, even though it's just over a year old and said nothing more he could do-he even ‘googled' it and found nothing. >>Response to Delta Response below: 1. I Called Delta 2 times on Mon within 3 hr span - not every 30 minutes. I called because, I got no response as promised. 2. Landlord gave full permission to me, as I'm an older prev experienced homeowner as well (renting due to fast relocation for job move from out of state), and have repaired DW's before, but this one was not mine, and he was out of country. 3. Delta, if you need reference, I can supply several Part's Suppliers online that we found needed parts for DW in just a brief search - Google works fine. * Funny how Raj_56 review below "No service atall" is similiar in fashion.

Sir we do thank your Landlord for his business as we could not find any information on this unit thru our parts supplers. The person that wrote the review is the tentant who had little to do but call us every thirty minutes( this review has been changed eight times) as we were tring to find parts for this unit. The tentant was insisting that we come on Saturday and we could not get parts. The person that wrote this has nothing to do with the service call other than he rents the home. When we tried to contact the landlord to update him on the unit his voice message stated that he was out of the country so we could not make any repairs to this unit in any event without his ok. Again we thank your landlord for his business.
We called Delta Appliances to repair our refrigerator. We didn't know what the problem was, but Delta quickly diagnosed it. The price was fair and our fridge is running smoothly thanks to Delta Appliances. Would use them again because they were reliable.

I called Herman from a trip out of town when a friend found my hot water heater leaking. He was later than he originally estimated that day but I was able to get same day service which in and of itself was a relief. Herman left and returned the same day late with the part needed to repair it. It turned out there was no way to shut our water off given broken valves so we had to wait for City of Atlanta to come out and help. Herman was nice enough to hang around until 930 to be sure we had water the next morning. Was pleased overall and no issues since then.
