We recycle all used parts, plastics, and metal parts.
The repairman cane out fixed our washer and bosh dishwasher that no one else would work and did it a a fair price. I will always use Delta Appliances great guys.
Based on my experience with Delta Appliances, it is very possible that "Herman" and his operation is perhaps a criminal operation whose aim is simply to take people's money under false pretenses. He... took $536.00 for a "parts order" in July and refused to return it late October 2013. One excuse after the next for months. He also refused to give me the legal name of his business and I'm pretty sure he gave me a false last name to avoid service/prosecution.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Called them to fix my Maytag dishwasher and they came right out, even though I live in Lawrenceville - they charged me $10 extra since the guy felt he had to drive far. Anyways - checked everything out said needed new part and he will order it - its been 5 weeks+ now - he wont call wont pick up the phone and I have pretty much wasted my $45 for him to come and tell me i need a new part. Just overall bad bad service. ****Update 4/08/11 - In response to Delta's reply***** I know they would love to fix my dishwasher - and I would have loved to get it fixed. I don't know what your policies are as far ordering parts etc is concerned - the bottom line is this: the guy came, evaluated the problem, said he will get the part, got paid the service fee (since that is all he asked for)and left. Didn't mention anything about paying in advance to order the part. Secondly, my wife called twice - once we actually got the tech on the phone and he said "We haven't forgotten about you and we will get back to you" - 2nd phone call did not pick up we left a "please call us back" message - 3rd phone call still no answer and left a "stronger" message - no replies. Whatever your excuse might be, the bottom line is you left a customer hanging.

We would love to repair your dishwasher, if you would just call us we have no parts on order for you and if you notice what you said that you only paid a service call fee to who ever that was. As for the phone we answer all calls and return all calls when you leave a message. Any time that Delta orders a part we allways collect for the part before it is order and if you can show a receipt for a part ordered by Delta Appliances we will give the service free plus $100 cash, we know there was no part ordered from us as you have stated. At Delta Appliances our goal is to please the customer. Call us and we will be happy to service your dishwasher.
Made an appointment for between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Had not shown up by 11:30. Had to cancel. Very disappointing.

We do thank you for considering our company but a repairman was at your house a 11:20 and you call the office and we told you that he was out front, and we had talked to a lady at the house who identified herself as the nanny and we let her know that the repairman was close. All we ask is that please tell it like it and we were still within the window that you were given as your appointment window was from 9am to 12noon. If only there were reviews written for all the good we do, as you can see this is the only review he has ever written. Again we do thank you.
I called about my washer needing repair. An appointment was scheduled at my earliest convenience to determine the problem; he returned the next day with the needed part to complete the work before he left on vacation the next day. My old washer works like new now!
Mr. Payne went the extra mile to get my appliance functioning again, though more consistent communication regarding estimated time of arrival would have taken some of the suspense out of part of the process.
Delta appliances was very fast and reliable with their service. They offered same-day service to fix our broken washer for a very affordable price. They were very polite and professional. Thanks!!
I called in the morning and Herman was at my house before noon. He assessed the problem, got the part and it was fixed by 2pm. Reasonable price too. I will definitely use Delta Appliances again.
Responded and came out the same day. After picking up the needed part, it was fixed the next day. Quick, reasonable, responsive - what more do you want?
Herman was fantastic with our refridgerator repair. He was very efficient and to the point. He quickly came in, assessed the problem and it was fixed the next day. He was accomodating to my schedule, trustworthy, friendly and diligent. I would whole-heartedly recommend them.
Herman came on incredibly short notice to fix our washer yesterday. He completed the work in a timely and professional manner for a reasonable price. I'll definitely use him again for our appliance repair needs.
We appreciate Delta Appliances coming back to fix the problem with our shower head. I also appreciate Kudzu for getting us a forum for searching out and finding businesses who are responsive to their customers.

Cleared my schedule and stayed home all afternoon to wait on the repair guy. They never showed up, never called. An hour after they should have arrived, I called them. He said he could still come, but wouldn't be able to do anything or give me an estimate because the parts place was closed. Say what? No apology, just said things are busy and they were running behind. I don't know why I couldn't have been given a courtesy call. Once he knew he wasn't on his way here in time to get a part (or estimate) before 5:00, seems he could have called and let me know (that I was free to leave the house.) We'll see if he shows up on time and is able to fix it at the (inconveniently scheduled) next appointment. Will keep you posted. ***UPDATE: They called me with an estimate (the next morning!), NOT the day (or night) I had stayed home waiting. The next morning they gave me a price for the part (which I had already looked up online and found several estimates--Delta Appliance's price was comparable) and labor. The cost seems reasonable, but now I have to decide whether or not to repair the dryer or just buy a new one. Plus, as I mentioned earlier, I had cleared my schedule the day before for them. The next day wasn't good due to my schedule. If I repair it, I'll call Delta & ask for an early morning appointment. Based on Kudzu reviews I had already recommended them to a friend last week before my appointment. Hopefully they were just having a bad day. More later.

Due to some calls before this one taking longer we were running late with calls but she was still on our list to be serviced for the day. After talking with her about her dryer problem we were able to give an estimate without making or charging her a service call as she did not mention that this saved her money, but we do thank you for your business.
In a field fashioned by dishonesty and pretense; Delta Appliances stands out as an honest and equitable service provider. We have used Delta Appliances on three different occasions. Each time we have found them to be very responsive, solid in their repair, and fair in their pricing. We highly recommend them for your next repair.
11/15/10: Situation never resolved..Corporate office never offered to resolve issues. To use the word disappointed is an understatement! We called Herman to fix our refrigerator and after 2 house calls, the refrig was still not cooling and I was losing food every day. Called him a 3rd time to come out again to fix it since all the parts I paid him for were still under warranty.. Herman NEVER arrived when he stated...and the final straw was he said he would be out on Monday...Monday came and went and all he kept telling me was that "I'm coming" all week he kept saying he would be to our house shortly. Well by Friday he still NEVER arrived...at that point we were done. I would never recommend this company -- terrible customer service!

Update 11-15-10 We talk to this lady three or four times and offered to take back the parts an refund her money and she said that we could not get the parts so at that point we didn't know what else to do with her as we tried our best to make her happy. We regret that this happened but our Technian made two other trips out to this house and no one was home ( ninty miles round trip each time) and as always we go the extra mile for our customers, but if you would give us a call we will give you a refund if we can not fix your unit, please call us ASAP. Thanks for your business.
My Kenmore refrigerator stopped cooling and Sears Home Service "stiffed" me on two appointments during the week. (I'll never call them again!). I called Delta Appliances on Friday afternoon and Herman told me he would be out on Saturday. When he arrived he quickly fixed the refrigerator and gave me a fair price. He was courteous and easy to talk to. Highly recommend his service.
I have a condo in Decatur that I maintain from another state, and have called Herman at Delta Appliances twice: once to install a new cooktop, and once to fix a garbage disposal. He's awesome. Gets on the job right away, does so with professionalism and grace, and does it well. I love having someone I can trust!
