Had them repair a fridge fan and water line 15 months ago (for $300). Fan is fine, but water line is cracked and leaking. They said it's been over a year so not under warranty and not their fault. Asked if they would repair and they simply refused - told me to find another company. Will seek out someone else to repair the part they put in 15 months ago. Definitely won't be using again.

We do thank you for your business but we told this customer at time of call that we would be there within an hour or two depending on the time that it takes to finish the call that repairman was on and traffic as he said that he would be there until 3:15pm and he said if we could not make it than Monday would be ok. We went over and beyond to find the part for this guy as his part was no longer available as all of this was explained to him at the time of estimate and as for the $69.00 part until the other parts were replaced there was no way to tell this part needed replacing. We went the extra mile for this customer to repair this unit, tentant stated that this problem had been going on for over a month and no repair had been made properly until we were called to do so. Thanks for your business.
Good news is that I've never had to use a repair person. Bad new is that I've never had to use a repair person, so when I needed one on a Friday evening when the fridge and freezer started warming up, hitting the "dangerous" range on the termometer, and company was literally en route to my house for dinner, I had no clue who to call. After quickly perusing Kudzu, I found Herman who not only saved my fridge and dinner, but he did it within an hour of my phone call, and charged me less than dinner for two at an upscale restaurant. He was more than fair, knowledgeable, tidy and personable to boot. Seems my dishwasher is acting up and I'm looking forward to having Herman come back because I know he'll repair it quickly and charge me fairly.

After trying for over two weeks to get someone to look at our broken ice machine I finally had to cancel the "appointment." After numerous telephone conversations with them with the constant assurance that "we will be there today" - they never showed. There service may be excellent when/if they show, but I wouldn't know. With their office only 3 miles away I didn't think arrival would be an issue.

Yes he knows that we have always given them great service for we have serviced other appliances in this office and called them to let them know if we were running late. All of the other repairs that were made they praised the repairman on such great work but never post a review until now?????
Was everyone charged a $45 call fee even if your appliance wasn't fixed? I can't find any information confirming a $45 call fee.

Our service call fee was told to this customer before the visit and as always there is no service call fee with a repair, as with this call the repairman went and purchased parts and on the way back customer changed her mind and did not make the repair and would not pay anything for a service call. To this one and all of our customers we do thank you for your business.
WE called Herman at 4 pm in the afternoon and he came out that evening to repair our AC. He is a life-saver since it was 90 degrees that day!! And the price was great too.

I didn't give a full 5 stars, because arrival was over an hour after time stated and I hate waiting. In all fairness though, they fit me in as an emergency repair within hours of my call. I will definitely use again.

I called Delta after looking at some great reviews on Kudzu, and Herman came over. I didn't know what to expect, but was relieved when it was only a bad fuse. This was great news since I thought I might have to buy a new microwave. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes with only the fuse to replace, yet the bill was for $85. That seemed quite steep for just a fuse. I must say first that Herman was nice and professional. He also did good quality work. Though expensive, the reason Delta is not receiving a great star rating is that when I called to set up the appointment I mentioned Kudzu, because of the $20 off online coupon. It slipped my mind to give Herman the coupon until just after he left. I immediately called him, no more than 2 minutes after he left. I thought because I paid cash, it would be easy to still get the $20 off. Herman told me he would have to check with the owner and get back to me. After 30 minutes and not hearing anything back I made several attempts to contact him again, but no one answered. The next morning I tried back and Herman again said he would get back to me. Still I heard nothing back, so I called him and was told that it was too late. I had already paid and the deal was done. Their website says, "Excellence in customer service is our #1 priority." I let it go after that call, and I know now what to do in the future for my appliance repair needs. Nevertheless, those are the facts, so formulate your own conclusions wisely.

We do thank you for you business and we try hard to please but lets state facts this was not a fuse but a thermal limial kit that was put in your microwave in December 2009 (five months ago) and now you raised an issure and say we are pricey when our service call and labor was only $69 for your total cost of service call and labor and the other $16 was for the parts, and you called three hours later to ask for a discount when the coupon says at time of repair ask repairman for discount. But we do thank you for your business and if we can be of service to you in the future please remind our technian and we will give you a discount. Again thanks for your business.
Delta diagnosed our problem with our washer in minutes and was able to fix it quickly. They did not have the part on the truck so had to come back but did so at my convenience. The service man was very nice and I would recommend their services. Thanks.

We have used Delta twice. Herman is AWESOME. Very Quick to come out and will you give you an HONEST assessment of your problem. Very reasonable estimate and quick too!

Herman quickly diagnosed and fixed the dryer at my rental property last week. Before he left, we noticed a plumbing problem under the kitchen sink that he also quickly diagnosed and prepared to fix. Even though it kept him much longer than his original plan, he made a run to the store for a plumbing part and cheerfully returned to complete that repair, as well. I found Herman unfailingly polite, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend his work to anyone looking for appliance repair. (As a matter of fact, this week he's due at my own house to diagnose a dishwasher problem.)

I had a freeze up in the water line for my side by side refrigerator. The serviceman told me that it was a design flaw in the model, suggested several ways to fix it - very knowledgeable!

I'm so impressed with Herman. He's honest, reliable, and knows his stuff! So far he's fixed our TV, dishwasher, and washing machine. -- Update 5/5/13: I've now had 2 bad experiences & won't be calling or recommending them again. It basically comes down to not showing up when they say & no courtesy call. Most recent incident I spoke with him at 10:30am was told he'd be here in "an hour and a half". At 2:00 I CALLED HIM & he said he was on his way to another appointment but he'd call me when he was on his way; fine-I was able to run a quick errand & get back home. Well he called at 8:00pm & left a message saying he'd come by tomorrow instead. Forget it. I wasted my entire Saturday waiting around. Things happen, I get it. But you have to show some courtesy to your customers & respect their time.

Our ice maker was not working and our fridge was leaking. We called Delta and they came out the same day. Herman sat through hours of traffic to get to my place and even tho it was a late Friday night, he was professional and courteous. We would recommend him to anyone.

Answered my call on Sunday; scheduled appointment for Monday; showed up during scheduled time, with the requested pre-call; completed service; issue resolved; would use again.

I've had Herman & his son come to my home twice to repair appliances--both a GE refrigerator & microwave (yes, we repaired the microwave after GE sent the main part to us under warranty). They show up, are polite, clean and repair what needs to be repaired. What I really appreciate is that they make an effort to get there on the same day when the situation merits it, i.e., a refrigerator not cooling. Not as prompt when it was the microwave, but we both agreed that it was not an emergency. I recommend them & I would use them again.
