I had been going to Dr. Lisa D'Angelis because of my insurance and I think she is awful! She is very patronizing and insincere. She talks to you like you are a small child. She spends only a few moments on her exam with you at the end of your appointment. On a positive note, the hygenist that I usually have is very good. It is very difficult to get an appointment with Dental One and you always have to wait. I feel like I am at the free clinic when I go there. I have now changed dentists and I am very happy.

This was the worst dental experience of my life! As a physician myself I am fully aware of how a dentists office should work, and this is nowhere near. The staff was not personable or professional at all. It took approximately 3.5 months to resolve my bill because I was overcharged four different times. In fact after my appointment I was told that they did not accept my insurance. I then had to get my insurance company on the phone while in the chair to resolve the matter. Which was obviously a mistake, but I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong! Lastly, in trying to switch dentists, I was denied access to my own x-rays, and was told that they could not find my name in their files. After, 1/2 hour of searching they found them but told me I would not be able to receive them for 24 hours!!! The dentists also do not explain anything. they simply pluck away at your teeth and hop to the next patient.

I just recently moved into this area of town. I found these guys when I needed immediate attention for a dental emergency and most of the people I called on a Friday at 2PM (the worst time for dentist - they are fishing...) was either gone or did not care to take "new patients". So I ended up going to one of the doctors, Dr. Magursky. It's a very large practice with somehwat outdated interior (...sorry, I am used towriting foody reveiws :) ). The staff is very friendly and attentive. Appointments are kept on time and specifically Dr. Magursky is a trip! Friendly, explains everything and just a lot of expertise with personality. Very nice and professionally capable person. Price wise (I use indemnity insurance, i.e. I pay, insurance reimburses) they are very competitive. As to the other reveiw regarding insurance, as I stated, I use indemnity insurance, so I cannot attest to any filing issues. Other big bonus point: They take AMEX!

I have been going to Dr. Lisa D'Angelis at Dental One in Tucker, GA for about seven years. I moved about 35 miles from her office about 5 years ago, but let me tell you, she is worth the trip. I have recommended her to everyone I know, and let me tell you, they are all as satisfied as I am.

My dentist was very quick, gave very little explanation, and did not do a thorough job. I had to return multiple times and still i was quickly sent out, without a thorough exam or explanation. I am still having problems. I would never recommend going here.

I had to wait for over an hour for my appointment and I was given an estimate that was VERY expensive with lots and lots of treatments. I changed dentists and when I showed the new dentist the treatment plan, he explained (in detail) why most of them were not even necessary for me. Be very careful of their services! It saved me thousands of dollars to go somewhere else - not to mention a lot of pain!

Dental One Associates provides good customer service, but you have to be sure that your orthodontist's schedule matches yours. In other words, if your orthodontist only comes to the Montreal office on Tuesdays and Fridays, you'll have to adjust your schedule to accommodate his/hers.
