Dental One Associates

My spouse and I went here and had no idea that dentists still operated without modern x-rays. The dental assistant jammed the x-rays in my mouth to the point that not only was I hurting but I felt like I couldn't breathe. The x-rays they took were useless when we finally found a good dentist who said the x-rays were unreadable. They overcharged us for our services and still haven't refunded us. The dentists they say work there, don't actually work there. They don't even give you the name of your real dentist so you don't know who is actually your dentist. The customer service sucks. We waited hours to get our teeth cleaned then they didn't have a hygienist so my spouse had to reschedule for another day after we waited for two hours. Also, you have to pay big money to park in their parking structure. They won't validate your parking so you can spend $10-$15 for an appt. if they're running late. No thanks. We found another good dentist a few blocks away where the technology is modern, the customer service is great and where they don't rip you off financially.

First of all they do work that doesn't really need to be done just to run up your tab. I think that's pretty well documented in other reviews. What's not highlighted as well is the administrative part of their practice. It's AWFUL! They have double booked my appointment time, failed to follow up on phone calls, told me they've sent emails when they haven't, and now they are sending me additional invoices because they say my insurance won't pay. I called my insurance company and there's no record of a claim being filed or of their office calling in to check on the status of a claim. These guys are a nightmare to deal with. Stay Away!!

I'm a Navy Reservist. Went to see Dr. Rodriguez for the first time (because he was in my network) to get an exam because I'm about to deploy and there was no time to see the dentist at my command. Dr. Rodriguez said I needed all of this work done, and actually faxed over a form to my Reserve Command after I asked him not to because I was going to see my original dentist for a second opinion. I went to see my original dentist, Dr. Drescher with Cohen & Drescher in Atlanta, and Dr. Drescher said my teeth were fine and did a regular cleaning; instead of a deep-scaling that Dr. Rodriguez said I needed so badly. All Dr. Rodriguez wanted was money, and he jeopardized my deployment status because of it. Dr. Drescher said I am a Class I so now I am able to deploy this week. Stay away from Dental One and Dr. Rodriguez, because all they care about is money.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rodriguez for about 4 years now. Since I've been seeing him the overall discomfort in my mouth is completely gone and I am confident my teeth and gums are much healthier. He does a fantastic job of listening and working to find the best solutions for you. Plus, he’s very gentle – I’m not a fan of having dental work done but he ensures I’m comfortable and talks me through the procedures as he's doing them.

I highly recommend Dr. Alex Rodriguez. They have a great new office located right in Midtown. If you’re looking for a dentist, he’s the one.

i've had a few app with dr rodriguez and one with his periodontist that travels to his office. each time they looked up what my ins would pay and i got an estimate of my out of pocket cost signed by them and initialed by me. each time i recieved a bill in the mail months later for hundreds extra. if they know the procedure i'm going to have why do i just get an estimate that they can raise months later?
