I booked an appointment using the booking link (ZocDoc) at their website. I even got a txt confirmation abt my appointment. I showed up at their office and I was told that my appointment is with their PA. I showed them the txt message showing that I have an appointment with Dr. Curtis. The receptionist told me "Well, sometime that site doesn't work" Wow! Way to go to take accountability for the site that your business webpage endorse. This place is not getting my service!

We apologize for any inconvenience our online appointment system caused you. Now that we are aware there is a problem, this will be discussed with Zoc Doc and the problem will be eliminated or we will no longer use this system. We can assure you that our licensed Physician Assistants are completely qualified to evaluate a host of skin conditions and treatment options; however, we do understand that it was not your original intent to see one of these providers. We would be happy to arrange an appointment for you with Dr. Curtis or another one of our board certified dermatologists. Please call our Practice Administrator Sharon Williams directly at 404-256-4457 ext. 211 if you would like to discuss this matter further or arrange another appointment.
Dr. Griffin is not good at all. I don't know how he gets his reputation, but he is overrated. He tries to get you to do the most expensive things, without taking the individual's condition into consideration. One time is the last time.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion; however, it should be known that this claim is unsubstantiated and does not reflect Dr. Griffin' s way of doing business. Above everything else, Dr. Griffin cares about his patients and their well-being. On innumerable occasions Dr. Griffin has gone above and beyond the call of duty in caring for his clientele. We understand that doctor and patient personalities do not always mesh, but invite any patient (yourself included) to contact our previous patients for examples proving this claim highly subjective. Our practice maintains an open door policy and invites you to contact our Practice Administrator 404.256.4457 Ext: 211 if you wish to discuss a specific matter.
I will not be returning to this practice or to dr. Payne. I found a lack of listening to my needs as the patient, and a lack of privacy (a staff actually barged into room during the exam, apparently dr. Payne had no problem with this!) I have found another Derm!

We're unhappy to hear of your dissatisfaction. We can assure you that our goal as providers is to listen to your needs and provide effective solutions for your concerns. It is certainly not our intent to make you feel rushed or as if your privacy isn't important. We hold patient privacy and safety in the highest regard. Often, our dermatologists will require an assistant in the examination room to facilitate certain procedures. If you would like to discuss this matter with our Practice Administrator Sharon Williams directly please contact her by calling 404.256.4457 Ext: 211.
My mother has Alzheimer's, and is fairly uncommunicative nor "present" most of the time, and she had to visit DAA for skin cancer removal. I was concerned that an in-office procedure would be difficult, but Dr. Payne and the nurse took such good care of her. The nurse administered injections with no pain to my Mom, and Dr. Payne removed the cancer in one pass, with no discomfort to my Mom. She even slept through part of the procedure! What could have been a difficult day wound up being smooth as silk. Thanks DAA!

I've been to see Dr. Kraus several times. Each time, I feel that I am rushed in and out of there. While I appreciate not being stuck in an office too long, I also think he should take time to listen to you and explain processes. He does not. I've never had any significant skin issues though. Recently, my fiancÚ went and had to have numerous places frozen off and a biopsy done. Dr. Kraus was in and out of the room super-fast, did not explain why he was freezing certain areas and did not discuss with him any prevention techniques. He was given 4 prescriptions and we had to spend several minutes with the pharmacist just figuring out what all of this was. This week, he receives a call from Dr. Kraus' office and is diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. His assistant, Frank, who called to tell him this barely spoke English and stumbled over all his words. He was quite flippant and uninformative. When you are calling to say the word "carcinoma" to someone, I think a clear explanation of what this means and next steps is appropriate. I would not recommend this Doctor. I cannot speak for the other doctors in this office and won't because we will not be going back to this practice.

I was in & out of the office in less than 45 minutes and I was a new patient! I went in for my annual skin cancer check with Dr. Payne who is super nice & answered all of my questions. I will be back for future checks -

Every single person that I have met over the last 7 years at Dermatology Associates has been incredible to me. I have always been treated so well and if a particular doctor I want to see is unavailable they will work me in with someone who can take care of me right away. I would recommend this practice everyone! These doctors, nurses and staff truly care about their patients.

I went to see this group and the doctor spent a total of 7 minutes in the room. two of which he actually looked at my face and the rest he spent writing perscriptions. 7 minutes is not enough time to sepnd with a patient. They are not freindly they send you to get all these procedures but will not work with your insurance company at all.
