Desert Moving

Desert Movers were very professional over the phone and in person. The movers who came to our house were: dressed professionally (for movers) clean, very harding working, respectful of our property. Their rates were very reasonable. No surprise fees or extra costs for multiple stops or mileage. Straight by the hour charge. I thought they might work slow because they are by the hour only, but they loaded up our house into the truck so fast. I was amazed. Have only good things to say about this company! Will use them again for sure!!

The reviews are not wrong. Very professional from start to finish. Humberto booked my move. He answered all my questions re price and conditions and I received a confirmation call and email. Lupe and crew arrived early and finished in a little over 3 hours. All of them made my moving experience very easy. They even contended with the "tiger" that was living in the master bedroom. Very patient with my deciding were to place the furniture and even hung up a mirror for me. I am sugessting them to all my friends! Thank you again guys!

Two movers from Desert Moving came out on Oct. 20. One was a pro and the other was rather green. And like the other reviewers on Kudzu say, both moved my stuff as if they were in a race.

Unfortunately, when my furniture/appliances arrived at the destination, my bed’s footboard had a significant dent, with a break in the board’s surface. In addtion, when the microwave was placed on the countertop, it was pushed/pulled along the countertop surface, which caused a long scratch on the countertop. I didn’t notice either of these two damages until later.

I didn’t call Desert Moving to attempt a claim until Nov. 5 because I wanted to be sure there weren’t any other damages. I believe it was the owner who returned my call on Nov. 9. He wasn’t very clear with any settlement options other than that he would bear no responsibility for my countertop. He did give me the option of paying a ~$350 insurance deductible to his insurance company, which is ridiculous since my entire bed costs about that much. Eventually, he said he could pick up the footboard to get it fixed for free. I opted to not go this route since this could open up a whole new can of worms.

Because the company doesn't seem to a have a systematic claims process, I can’t recommend them, as I’ll now have to pay to get the damages fixed, in addition to the service cost and tips.

I've used movers a few times in my life, and this was by far the most painless experience. The quoted price and time frame was lower than the other places we looked into and when all was said and done, they even beat their own quote by a whole hour. These guys worked their butts off and never complained once. I would wholeheartedly recommend Desert Moving to anyone who asks!...

I am an attorney relocating to Phoenix and I was driving a 26 foot Penske truck from Omaha, NE and needed help unloading the truck. I had loaders in Omaha but these guys beat them hands down. They were extremely efficient, hard working and most importantly VERY careful with all of my things. Some items they even shrink wrapped before removing them from the truck to protect them. I would highly recommend these movers to anyone. The guys that helped me were Marcos and Lupe. Awesome job guys!
