Like the vet
Staff can make or break it. Thurman is very professional and ""politically correct"" with clients. Unfortunately one of her staff techs just hasn't learned that skill. Receptionist is hard to read; don't know if she is nice or notkinda ""out there"". Sometimes difficult to get her to loosen up. Hint: do not question anything and you will love this place. Unfortunately, there is a little bad habit of downtalking other vets which is not good AT ALL. Too much gossip and clichishness. Uncomfortable for me....

The Best
Use to take my dogs to another Vet until a neighbor recommended Desert Sage. Dr. Thurman is the best and so is the staff. If you want a friendly environment for you and your pets with excellent care then this is the place. Dr. Thurman spends as much time as you need answering your questions.

Best Vet Yet
I have been seeing Dr. Thurman for about 3yrs. with my basset hound and a great dane. She and her staff are very friendly and know my dogs by name when i call to male an appointment. They make the extra effort to accomadate any special needs you or your pet may have. I have a 20yr old cat who is an indoor cat and hasn't been to a vet in 19yrs,they made it very comfortable for her on her visit with very little stress. They are there to answer questions and concerns over the phone and the staff actually calls you back when you leave a message. I recommend Desert Sage to everyone i know. \rThanks Dr. Thurman and Janet.\r \rVirgina & KC\r\r10/2/08 \rI finally had to take my 22yr old cat in to be down. Dr. Thurman made me feel very at ease with my decision as hard as it was. She talked to keisha and us the whole time and that was nice.
