Installer seemed to prefer to take shortcuts in the installation but was willing to make accommodations when specifically asked. Installer first suggested running the cable straight down the middle of the side of the house. I asked if it could be run under the eve and down the corner molding instead. The installer did and the appearance of the final installation was good. Installer said the remote for the second set (RF) would have to be walked to a particular part of the room for the signal to reach base. When specifically asked if the receiver antenna could be re-positioned by putting a cable between the box and the antenna he was very helpful in doing so\r\rHowever, the biggest problem came because the dish was installed in the winter. It wasn't until spring and the foliage came out that I found the signal went through the trees. In the span of several weeks I went from great TV to almost no TV. I've talked with other installers and tree service companies who told me that an installer with any knowledge at all had to be aware the signal would encounter interference when the leaves came in the spring. After a call to Digital Satellite they sent another tech who said there was no way the dish could be positioned any better and he left with no work being done. Thinking I would have to have a tree removed I called a tree specialist who said they would remove it for $1200. This was for a tree that I was otherwise happy with. Finally, I called Dish Network and suggested we may have to nullify the contract. They sent installers from Impact Satellite to provide a second opinion. In less than an hour they repositioned the dish and it worked beautifully.
