I thought I would give a follow-up to the earlier review on our 3 pieces of protective furniture glass. I originally was wary of glass to cover these tables because of the possibility of scratches. Nine months later with heavy use, there isn't a single scratch. Wow! Below is my earlier review, which Kudzu ended up replacing with this one. We recently bought three very large antique tables that needed replacement glass tops. I was certain that we would be paying more for the glass than we did for the tables, but I decided to get bids anyway. Not only was Discount Glass' bid the lowest, I ended up upgrading all three pieces to 3/8's inch glass and still getting all three pieces for less than I had anticipated spending on the biggest piece! The transaction was professional from the beginning (mostly done by internet with our measurements), and the guys who arrived were careful and polite. They even noticed my husband working to remove glue from a piece of furniture and offered a solution from their truck. The pieces are thick and rich and flawless, with smooth neat edges, and they fit perfectly. What a wonderful transaction.

When working with suppliers we always look for companies that can not only give us good prices, but also process our orders correctly and efficiently. That is always the experience we receive when doing business with Discount Glass and Mirror and that is why we continue to purchase through Leslie and the other helpful staff.

The delivery was scheduled more than three weeks out after they measured the shower. On the day of arrival, they called to say that the door was broken. I asked them to install the remaining pieces without the door, and they did. One of the pieces of frosted glass had a small blemish. (At this price, it should be perfect.) They brought the door about ten days later. The door didn't stay closed, and the installer lowered the sweep so that friction holds it closed, mostly. They offered to replace the frosted glass piece with the blemish, but given the time and the probability that they might make more of a mess removing and replacing all the silicone around it, I decided to keep it as is.
