Discount Tire Co. - Oak

I purchased my back tires from this location, and because of the great service I received, I decided to get my front tires there two months later. The staff was very friendly, and I was able to set an appointment and get in and out in under 30 minutes. I used their website to select the tires and set the appointment. It worked seamlessly. I strongly recommend using them based on their service. I did not have to deal with attempts to upsale or other nonsense found at other places in the Valley.

I've been very satisfied dealing with all Discount Tire locations in the valley. Would stop at different ones for air in tire, always fast & friendly. Recently returned tires due to tread not lasting per the MFG Warranty, replaced with better tires, paid for basic installing. So satisfied. Tip keep receipts for proof of purchase. All Tires must log DOT to the AZ Dept of Safety, check your receipts from all dealers for the DOT#.

I hesitate to go to auto mechanics, being a female, for fear of being taken advantage of, etc.

With that said, I went to them to get my tires rotated, since they are close to my work. They gave me a 1 1/2 hr wait time, so I walked to nearby Smart&Final and came back and it was done! They totally treated me professionally and was pleased with their work!

I have tried going to this location several times over the past 5 years. I make an appointment for a tire rotation- they forget to even start work on my car and I've been there for over an hour and a half. I walk in and they forget that I'm there - 4 hours later. I get there for a flat repair and wait for it - only to be told an hour later to go to a different location. I stopped going there and would have gone anywhere else - but family forced me back - so I thought bringing a token male would help - Not. Helped the two guys who came in behind me, but not me. Then when I was to get a phone call that day if they were able to finish the flat repair I left with them on a Saturday, or I was to get a phone call that Monday - they never called. I had to hunt down their number and call them - of course that was late enough I could not pick it up that day. Don't bother with this location. EVERY other location in the valley will treat you better - even if you are a female.

I had a flat tire and took it in to Discount Tire because they were the closest tire company to my work. The employees are very friendly, but it took 1-1/2 hours to pull half a razor blade out of the tread of my tire and patch it. They were very busy that morning, but that amount of time still seemed a bit excessive.
