Discovery Inspections

Gary Sloan was incredible! He spent hours inspecting my prospective home, and I got to follow him around, taking notes on everything he said. I didn't need to take notes, however, because he photographed all problem areas and included them in his thorough report. When I moved into the house, I knew what problems to tackle first, thanks to Gary's expertise. He really cares.

Having used Discovery on a previous house inspection, we didn't hesitate in using them again. Unfortunately this time they let us down badly. Lack of advice on a water leak has lead to a $10k bathroom repair. We hired then for their expert advice, something we didn't get. We will not be recommending this company.

They did an inspection on the home we were buying. Gary showed up on time and examined the whole house, so we knew what we needed fixed by the owners prior to closing. Richt before closing we had him come one more time to check the crawl space,as there issues down there, good thing, as he found a major leak from the dishwasher, resulting in the owners having to buy a new one for us. We have recommended him to friends and he has a great web site of companies he recommends.

When searching for a home inspector I called several people. On top of not wanting to pay much, I also wanted someone experienced and good at their job. You cannot get better than this. Gary was professional, informed, and helpful. I have already recommended him to several friends.

This company is just wonderful to work with. When you are dealing with all of the ins-and-outs of a home purchase, these are the folks you want. They are courtous, knowledgable, professional and full of much needed information not only about the inspection and your property, but also referals for other services.
