We interviewed several different contractors for our renovation. We chose Distinctive Remodeling Solutions because Mark, the owner, provided us with the most upfront information and provided us with an initial vision of the direction we would go in. We also had an opportunity to meet with the kitchen designer from Inspirations and the interior designer from MODA before making a commitment which was critical. Their joint vision helped us to move forward with Mark. We are not disappointed. The subcontractors were marvelous and designed us a home that we never anticipated and one that we could never do on our own! The renovation took 4 months and it went so smoothly which is a tribute to Kane, the on-site project manager, who excels at organization and coordination. He also has a very keen eye and wants everything to be "perfect" and wants the client to be "pleased". We are very pleased with our decision to work with Distinctive Remodeling Solutions and would definitely use them again.

The demo is dirty, long, and not easy to live thru. We were prepared for the ups and downs, but it is still a difficult time. In the end we love the bathroom, so we are happy.

We are both pleased and proud of our main floor project done by Distinctive Remodeling Solutions. From the start, Mark's vision surpassed ours, and Kane Hawkin's (Project Manager) execution has provided us with beautiful and functional spaces that our family enjoys on a daily basis. How much more could you ask for in a remodel? The services provided by Moda Floors & Interiors and Bell Cabinetry were invaluable. Furthermore, every craftsman, from painters to chimney to electricians, who entered our home was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. With two young children in a busy neighborhood over a 6 month period of time, this was very crucial to us.Distinctive Remodeling Solutions truly lives up to its very name!

Our project consisted of adding a bonus room in the unused open space above in our two story great room. We’ve been using the room for almost two years since Mark Buelow and the Distinctive team completed our addition and the project turned out just as we planned. It has been wonderful and we would definitely work with Distinctive again.

The due diligence process started with interviewing six different companies before deciding to work with Distinctive. During the initial site visit and design process, Mark listened intently. He never tried to add or up-sell a kitchen remodel or addition into the scope like some of the other remodelers we consulted with. He stayed focused and within the scope of our needs. Only after we reviewed our entire project did he make suggestions that he felt wouldn’t benefit or fit the project.

Our Project Manager, Kane, was professional and ensured that the scheduling of craftsman was managed, that the work spaces were kept orderly and there wasn’t any chaos. Mark was always quick to respond to any question that came up. Since the entire project was managed by Distinctive, everything was managed superbly.

The process was methodical and organized. We had a Gant chart to follow the work schedule that charted the entire process and everything occurred as expected. In the one case that could have caused a conflict with scheduling, Kane jumped right in and lost no time.

I highly recommend the Distinctive team and Mark Buelow.
