First you ask them to fax the prescription, you fax them a signed statement, you never get a fax back from them. Then you place an order with them, they mess up the order, then you place the order again AND U DO NOT HEAR BACK FOR 15 days until you call yourself and then are told that yes the contacts have arrived.

When I first went into store I had to wait a long time for someone to ask what I needed. The prescription I was given for contacts didn't work, the doctor was rude and told me that I was stupid, and when I asked for my money back they only wanted to give me $69 of the $108 I'd paid. Will be suing in small claims court for all of my money. Would avoid this place like the plague it is.

Was mistreated by the person who made the first check up and almost ignored by the doctor who followed her. The glasses came wrong the first time and now I start to have headache and my eyes burn, burn baby every time I use them for more than an hour. I want to return them and ask for a full refund but I'm afraid to deal with them again.

I have never used my Vision Insurance to get glasses or contacts because I felt you didn't really get a good deal. I had been going to America's Best for the past few years, but last year I decided to try getting glasses and contacts through my insurance. Doctor's Vision works is a fairly good eye center depending on who you deal with. I have no issues with the doctors themselves, but a couple of staff members are quite rude and obnoxious. When I went there last year they only gave me one box of contacts when my insurance said I was supposed to get two. I knew something was wrong, but the lady just rushed me out of the store before I could be sure. I finally got my box about a year later and even then she acted like she didn't want me to have it. The rest of the staff are extremely polite. As far as prices go, they are more expensive than America's Best but around the same price as contacts you find online at popular sites. Other than the couple of bad apples, my only other complaint is the extremely long wait times.

I first took my mother to get her glasses here. They had 2 customers and it was 1pm on a Wednesday. We sat there for 2 hour before it was our turn to see the doctor because the patient before us took forever inside the doctor's room. It took them 3 days (regardless of the huge advertising sign that says 1-hour) to make the 2 pair of glasses for my mom. One of the pair was not the same frame that we picked out but had the correct lens in it. We told them it was the wrong frame and one of the person there denied it. They insisted that it was the correct frame that we gave them. We walked around and saw the same frame that we picked out earlier on the table behind them with our name printed on the sticker that was attached to it. So we left them another 2 days to remake it. Every time that we come there, we had to wait in line or someone had something to do, or they had to check something, but it always take over 3 hours to get anything done in that office. Waste of time, poor customer service, messy service. With the gas prices now days driving to the place 3 times, I might as well come to Lens Crafter. At least I know my glasses will be done in 1-hour...exact.

For several years now, I have used Doctors Visionworks as my eyecare specialist. One of the staff members, Edward is a jewel. He is very attentive to detail and is an expert in eyecare. If you are smart enough to visit this location, say hello to Edward and rest assured that he and his staff are more than capable of assisting your needs.
