I would never board my dog here again. First off I found the owner to be rude and preoccupied secondly my dog was not herself when she returned she was extremely stand offish.
I want a loving kennel not a place that is in it for the money and that is how felt after boarding here. I have asked around and found that several people I know that used them for day care have found alternative places because they have to many dogs there at once and their dogs began nipping and having bad behavior after spending time there. I think the key is to be able to really see the space your dog will be spending his time in which they do not allow you to do here. They have many positive reviews yet I would beware its easy to ask friends to write these reviews.

We appreciate you giving Dog Days a try for your dog and appreciate your feedback. I am not sure which owner you are referring to but, if they were preoccupied with another customer or customer's dog, then they certainly would not have been able to give you their undivided attention. Hopefully one of the other highly qualified front desk employees were helpful. As Dog Days is one of the only true "play all day" facilities in Atlanta it is not for every dog and their owner. The dogs are all in large playrooms separated by size and are allowed to play all day - NOT just rotated into the playroom for short play sessions at a time. We feel this gives every customer more than their money's worth. Could your dog have just been tired from the great time she had at Dog Days and not 'stand offish'? We have set the pricing at Dog Days to help ensure that we maintain fewer dogs and give them more attention and care. By most accounts, we are within the national average for dog daycare prices. A dog's bad behavior cannot necessarily be attributed to Dog Days, a dog daycare, a dog park, or someone's house etc., it usually is attributed to the dog's lack of recent exercise and/or work or little structure in it's day-to-day activities. This all depends on the dogs breed and needs. We do allow customers the opportunity to tour our facilities before or after operating hours, which is mandated for insurance and safety purposes. For the customers who cant make time to tour the facilities we do have live streaming web cameras that show everywhere the dogs are playing at all times during the day- there are no secret rooms. You are right about these types of websites, it is easy to ask friends to write reviews. We actually ask all of our friends/customers to please write reviews of Dog Days to help us continue to improve where we can. Unfortunately, people also use these reviews to make personal attacks of business owners, hard working employees and great businesses. As always, we encourage any and all calls with questions or concerns, or by email.
