does not accept all breeds
I was shocked and disappointed when talking with an employee who informed me that my "mutt"(half australian shepherd & half pit bull) was not welcome bc they do not allow dogs with any pitbull in them in thier facilty regardless of temperment. Discrimation is not part of the care I want my pet to receive. I would not reccomend this facility for dog care regradless of your dog's pedigree.

Sydney, Dog Days does accept mixed breeds and "mutts" but you told our manager your dog was mostly Pit Bull. Then, you hung up the phone on our manager before she could explain why Dog Days can not accept Pit Bulls and a few other breeds so, I will take the opportunity to explain here. We are committed to maintain a safe and fun environment for all dogs, our employees, and the other customers and as such, our insurance company does not allow us to accept Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, Akitas, and Presa Canarios. You will find this to be true at all truly "play-all-day", or communal, dog daycares. Unfortunately, the majority of these breeds are not bad dogs but have gotten a lot of bad press over the years, mostly due to bad owners. Professionally and personally we do not have anything to gain by turning you or your "mutt" away. We actually lose the opportunity to build a relationship with you and your dog and show you why Dog Days is consistently rated one of the best dog boarding and daycare facilities in Atlanta.
If you call back we will be happy to help you find a facility that can make accommodations for you and your dog.
