We have been regular customers of Doggone Handy for many years now. The work continues to be top-notch, but the office has become an obstacle. Our problems have included unreturned phone calls, estimates that are riddled with errors, and the wrong supplies ordered for the job. We hate to move on, but we won't be using Doggone Handy anymore. We don't have time to deal with all the problems.

I had Dog Gone Handy Team out to tackle multiple jobs. An external outlet issues, fridge issue and a garbage disposal challenge. I am not easy on vendors and hard to please. I met my match with George ( my service representative) and Dog Gone Handy! All the work scheduled to be repaired by George proved to be an easier task-at least for George. George then asked repeatedly where else he could help me with some other projects that I was going to tackle on my own as we had addtional time left on the intial 2hr minimum. ALL the work performed was at a high standard.. George was incredibly pleasant, through, took the time to explain things to me and how to prevent some of the jobs in the future. I have already recommended them to many of my friends this week.

I had a servicemen from DogGoneHandy come to my home in March to repair both my outdoor light and garbage disposal. First, I was charged for parts not used and now the lamp that was repaired has stop working. And this work was done less than a month ago. I contacted company and ask for someone to call me to arrange for repairman to come back out and repair lamp AGAIN. Have not received a response. Will follow-up again, but will contact BBB if no call back.

Had some rotted exterior trim the HOA was nagging about so I researched some handymen services and reached out to a few. These guys responded promptly and scheduled an appointment. They were very punctual and offered a repair for a very reasonable price. Their workmanship was excellent. Their spliced in trim was done better than most of the original builder's work was done. Would use these folks again and recommend them highly.

Brent was at my house today to fix two completely different things, grout in the bathroom and rehanging doors for laundry pocket closet. He did the work in a timely manner, he explained what he was going to do, he answered all my questions and kept me informed when moving from one area of the house to the other. John who took my original call into the company did an excellent job of setting up the appointment and explaining how their services work. I will use them again in the future and recommend to family and friends.

From the first call in, for an appointment and estimate (Joe), through the job site work, and afterwards, Doggone Handy has been a pleasure to work with. We have found their personnel courtious, thorough, and timely. The major craftsmen who worked on our house (Ed and Glen) were great, and kept our house very clean during the 3 week project. Kudos to all--I highly recommend them.

If you appreciate a client focused company that does great work, with skilled craftspeople that are clean and on time, then you might want to trust Dog Gone Handy. From Karen in the office to master carpenter Steve, these pros value their clients and appreciate your call. I've had them fix a variety of projects for a very fair price. The repairs have been beautifully done and great care was taken to leave the work areas in perfect shape.

Get a second estimate before you use this company. Their estimate for a very simple job was more almost three times as much as another highly rated company's estimate. Employee that gave estimate was rude and must have thought we were ignorant to the cost of supplies needed to complete job. Cannot comment on quality of work as we obviously used the other company and were totally satisfied.

I heard great reviews about this company, including from a friend who has used them. I called to get a quote on having some work done to my kitchen. I cannot remember the name of the person who called me back, but he was very dismissive. I said I was looking for a quote on having countertops installed and he just said "We don't do that" and then told me to go to my local big box store. If they don't do it, find, but there is no reason to be rude about it. I kind of felt like he was treating me like I was an idiot for asking. I also asked for a quote on having my basement finished, and he said, "We don't come out and give quotes." I hung up very disappointed and will definitely not be pursuing work with this company.

I've had really good experiences with Dog Gone Handy. When I called to get an estimate to repair a leak, they offered to talk me through the fix over the phone. I scheduled a visit instead, and the repairperson arrived on time and was courteous. Even though they had a two-hour minimum, he fixed the leak in 15 minutes and offered to do other repairs. I called them later for a complicated installation that fell outside their areas of expertise, and they were very honest about that and offered advice about finding another company. They've earned my trust

Excellent quality - part of bath remodel was to install marble subway tile on wall with angled ceiling - cuts were perfect. Beautiful work. So nice to find a contractor that I could trust, provided quality work, took extra effort to meet my timeline, proactively communicated w/ me to ensure we were on the same page, professional and took excellent care of existing flooring and furniture. The whole package of excellent service. Also installed taller baseboards throughout upper floor, fixed a set of doors and our DIY effort at putting crown molding at top of kitchen cupboards. Would not hesitate to call on them again for work small and large.

I just had Andy and Brent from Dog Gone come out and hang some curtains that fell down from the previous owner. They did a awesome job and checked out all of the curtain rods in the entire house. They were very professional and completed the job quickly and to my great satisfaction. I highly recommend Dog Gone for any other handyman jobs that I might need around the house.

Dog Gone Handy and the technician, Steve, were a pleasure to deal with. I needed the motor on my electric exhaust fan mounted in my roof replaced. Ken Andersen in the office was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and the motor to be brought to my home. Steve, the technician, was right on-time, very courteous and pleasant, and did the work well within the two hour minimum. Now I have a handyman service to recommend to all my friends and neighbors.

I wanted to take a moment to share our feedback on the recent work Dog Gone Handy did for us. First, I have to say how easy it was to 1) request an estimate, 2) schedule a time for you to provide the services and 3) to work with the tech while onsite. Our tech Brent did a phenomenal job. We are so excited with how it all turned out. Not only did he perform the work as defined in the initial estimate but talked us through what he was doing, what he recommended in terms of follow-up priming/painting, etc. He and his work went above and beyond our expectations and we look forward to working with Dog Gone Handy in the future on any handy-man project needs.
