I love this place and my baby is so excited to go there and just as happy when I pick him up looking great. Wow, did you ever check back once the charge cleared all the way through to see if the charges corrected themselves? I know I've read the warning notice on their front desk and it makes the customers aware up front that there may be a credit card hold. And as for keeping the dogs for a long time, you stated the cut was done well. I really appreciate the time they spend with my dog. Even when he has to stay a little longer I trust that he is in good hands or I wouldn't leave him in their care to begin with. I would much rather someone who spends time on my dog than someone who rushes through their work without quality. They have my business and I would happily recommend them to others!

added to the tip on my credit card and when I called said the bank holds 20% until the chg. goes through, but I called the bank prior to calling them and the bank said nothing about such a transaction. I have seen chg. holds of $1 when ordering products on-line only. The amount added was just enough to bring their tip up to 20%...you do the math..

OKAY, THE DAY I WALKED INTO DOGGIE DOS THE GROOMER COME UP TALK TO ME, I FELT AS COMFORTABLE AS IF SHE WAS FAMILY. SHE SAID "HI, MY NAME IS LINDA AND I WILL BE GROOMING YOUR PET", "WHATS ITS NAME ? I SAID "DUDE". SHE PET HIM AND TALK WITH HIM WITH ALL KINDNESS. lINDA THEN REACHED FOR HIM HE WENT TO WITHOUT SNAPPING. IF YOU REACH FOR HIM WHILE I'M HOLDING HIM THAT'S NO, NO..HE'S GROWLS LIKE HE'S GOING TO BITE OF YOU. WHEN I RETURN TO PICK HIM UP, HIS TAIL WAGGIN AND SMELLING LIKE A TRUE GENTLEMAN WITH NO LOOSE HAIR ON HIM AT ALL (THAT WAS ONE OF MANY PROBLEM FACED PAST OTHER SALONS) I REACHED FOR HIM AND TO MY SUPRISE HE SNAPPED AT ME !! So, I quit going here for a while, after Leslie left, but was talked into coming back by the groomer who is now grooming our dogs. The cuts are better than they usually are, but she sliced my dog really bad once and then used a liquid bandage to glue it together, and it got infected. I still went back, because she does a great job on the cut. They are pretty nice there usually, but they always keep my dogs for well over 6 hours, and I have asked them and asked them to please not keep them so long. They can never give me a reason why they take so much longer than any other groomer I've ever used. I am about to go pick them up right now, and this will be the last time we use them. I hate that they keep them for so long, and am determined to find another grooming service with better customer service.

This review is based on several visits - trying to give this business the benefit of the doubt. They are careless, rude, unresponsive, and do not provide any level of concern about issues with their work. On the first visit the girl filled out cards on each dog. Our oldest dog has very bad hips. We specifically requested he be placed on floor level crates so he doesn't have to jump and injure his hips. Every time we go to get him he is placed up high and when we arrive they reach in and yank him down by his collar forcing him to land on his already bad hips. When confronted all they ever say is "oh sorry". Sorry excuse for a a groomer who could care less about the information on your own cards despite the fact we remind you every time we come. Our other dogs have been observed being yanked down, jerked up, swatted, and clumps of dried shampoo on them (left to dry with no rinse off) and twice they improperly put their harnesses on which allowed the dogs to run around the parking lot with rush hour traffic adjacent. The final straw was when they gave us our dogs back and rushed us out because they had to go. It turns out they did it because they screwed up and cut the dogs nails so short they were bleeding profusely and we had to see our ER Vet. When we called to address this with them the girl said she would have to talk to the owner and we haven't heard from them since even though we have called 3 times. Avoid this place at all costs! Your pet deserves better!

My first impression ever with this company is how the girl handled my dog the first time she even touched her. Another dog came in to the waiting room and both dogs were being quiet and not aggressive at all but she feels the need to have a tight hand on my dog's leash and pull at her neck as if she was doing something wrong. My dog is very sweet. She is a large dog weighing 65 pounds but is obedient and not difficult to handle. She said she was trying to get in between the dogs as if they were going at each other and the she pulled so hard at my dog's neck that her collar almost came off. While yanking at her she said she was trying to get her to go to the back so I took the leash and said, "Sugar is fine! Come on Sugar let's go." and of course Sugar obeyed me and went to the back calmly. The lady never knelt down and greeted my dog nor did she say her name or pet her. It's like the lady had ZERO experience with dogs. I do NOT recommend this company especially if you have a large dog.

Doggie Dos gives excellent customer service for a pet's grooming needs. They keep a record of the special needs for my dog. Their EXPRESS service insures that my dog gets fully groomed within one hour to minimize my pet's stress. I'm very happy to have found Doggie Dos!
