This place is one of the cleanest dog facilities I've ever seen. That was my first thought! They take pitbulls, when other kennels don't. That's a plus. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are reasonable for boarding, daycare, and grooming services. They have coffee and popcorn for customers. I tend to wonder if these negative reviews are made by enemies of the company. The dogs are treated with love and respect by the staff. I've never personally had a problem, although I have seen customers complain about the most arbitrary things. Whatever the case may be, try Dogma out and have a tour and see for yourself.

FABULOUS! FABULOUS! FABULOUS! i cant even begin to express the appreciation and effort that was given from the staff at dogma... my dog reggie is coon hound and a special needs dog.. he is required insulin twice a day with no room for error. without any concern the staff applied dedication making sure reggie was given his insulin. i couldn't be any happier reggie stayed for an extensive stay and i was able to check in from home with the camera system on my dog and not once did they miss his times. i was so impressed. reggie interacted and played with the dogs and came home a tired little guy.i couldnt have been more satisfied i will definetly bring my dog again. thank u dogma see you soon
The staff and management are amazing! I really like how the facility is ran and the new remodeling and new management is just fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and knows exactly what they are doing! The yards are very nicely sized and all dogs coming into the facility seem to really like it there! I also like how organized everything is! They really seem to care about each dog and their specific needs! And the owner of this facility has a very big heart and love for dogs! Even cats! I couldn't be happier with this place, I've been to and seen a lot of other facilities and this one is the best by far!! My dog will love coming here for a long time!! :)
A great place for dog day care and overnight boarding. We always feel comfortable leaving our dog during the day or overnight when we go out of town. My dog always gets so excited when we walk in the door. I definitely recommend Dogma!
I have been taking my two dogs to dogma for daycare and boarding for years. Any time I am out of town for longer than 2 days I board them there. The pack mentality they experience here has really helped a lot of their aggression and behavioral issues. Over Christmas I had boarded them and on Christmas Eve they called me and said one of them had blood in her urine which was likely a urinary tract infection. They are twins and Dogma had isolated them to determine exactly which one. I was able to find a mobile pet vet willing to call in a prescription of low dose antibiotics until I returned after Christmas. They picked up the antibiotics and administered them to the ailing dog. They went above and beyond and I appreciated it.

So far I love it! The staff seems to take the time to get to know my dog and love her as I would. My first time they did a great job walking me through the steps of a temperament test and what would follow. I have a medium size, 40 pound Pit Bull who is the sweetest but has a ton of playful energy and every time I pick her up she is happy and passes out in the car before we even leave the parking lot! Other day cares separate the dogs based on size but what I love about Dogma is that they separate the dogs based on personality and playfulness. The facility is clean and I feel comfortable leaving my sweet girl here for day care!

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Dogma since moving to the Smyrna area in 2010. We have used Dogma for daycare, boarding and grooming and we are overall very happy to have discovered them. We are very happy with the quality of the services they provide. Our chocolate lab, golden retriever and Burnese mountain dog get very excited whenever we ask if they want to go to daycare. They usually pull us into the check in area and are exhausted when we pick them up. Based on the webcams and what I've seen the facility is clean and the dogs get enough shade and have plenty of access to water. We couldn't be happier to have Dogma in the neighborhood and highly recommend them!

My boxer Nino loves Dogma Day care. There is so much space to run around and play The staff are excellent and clearly have a passion for taking care of our dogs. Dogma has plenty of fabulous boarding options along with excellent training programs and I would sincerely recommend you try this place. Once your dog had experienced Dogma Dog care, you won't want to take him/her anywhere else.

My dog has been going to Dogma over a year now, since he was a puppy. He absolutely LOVES it there! From the first day we walked in, it felt like home. The staff is so great, they are all truly dog lovers! We use all of their services, grooming, daycare and boarding. It is a great feeling being able to leave your beloved pet somewhere you do not have to worry about them. I don't know what I would do without Dogma! Our home away from home! My dog is very upset on the days we don't take him to daycare, but jumps around with happiness on the days he knows he going! I rely on them for our dog care and are happy they exist! :)

I've taken my Retriever to other boarding facilities in the area that smelled of urine and were dirty. Dogma is clean, the smell is clean and nothing related to animals being boarded. The staff knows my dog, my name and have become like family to me and my retriever.

We dropped off our Labradoodle for 1/2 day of daycare and he was bit on his rear end and sent home to us without so much as a word. My husband found out he was bleeding when he got him out of his truck. Our dog ended up shaved and had to put a drain tube in the bite because it was so deep. We were reimbursed for the vet bill. I realize that things happen with that many dogs but the customer service was horrible. No one offered any explanation of why this happened nor did they reassure us it wouldn't happen again. No one called to check on our dog to see how he was doing after the incident. We were told the reimbursement check was in the mail and two weeks later it still hadn't been cut so we had to drive down to pick it up. The bottom line for daycare is they have no maximum occupancy. We were told that they allow about 32 dogs per ONE staff member to watch them. That explains how our dog got bit and not one staff person knew about it. We were told they had 50 dogs that day. Please think twice about taking your dog here until they change some policies. I do use Tina to groom our other dog and she does a great job. Unfortunately, we are so disappointed with how things were handled we will not be spending any money here again. The staff folks we dealt with at the counter are certainly nice so it's not that, it's the management, customer service and capacity issues that caused this problem.
