So I had used Don Farr for my move to Utah and I have to say that my experience was much better than I expected. I will admit I was swept in by their low price estimate but then I started to see all these bad reviews about them and started to panic because I had already gave them my deposit. None the less I went on with the move. I can honestly say that my move went far better than I anticipated. The estimator told me everything I was looking at certain fee however they said my item weighed more than estimated but my price only ended being up about $100 more and that was ok because they ended up packing a lot of things for us that we did overlook.

This is actually one of the first reviews I've ever written for a company I've used and I'm happy to give Don Farr 5 stars in every aspect. I'm in the process of moving from AZ to PA, back to my hometown. I posted an add looking for moving companies on the Pittsburgh Craigslist and was contacted within hours. I wasn't rushed through anything and had a TON of questions asked (billing, insurance, timeline, storage). I was told a week in advance when my movers would arrive at my house and have no complaints about them either! They were fast, efficient, funny, and didn't get upset with I tried to play supervisor. :-) Now my things are safe in storage, waiting for me to find a perfect home for them in The Steel City!

I really thought it was important to take the time to let everyone know the experience i had with this company. After receiving several estimates and even told by other company's snaky ethics to go look for reviews for this company I decided to take a shot with them!!! I must say it was well worth it. I moved from PA-TX and the guys showed up prompt and ready on the pick up day. After watching the guys hustle for serveral hours, and pad wrap every item, they packed the truck tight! TETRIS I said !!! .... why??? Cause its amazing how those guys tightly secure every item. Unload day, Ft. Worth Texas, I had two of the best movers ever show up. I asked them if they were having anyone else come to help but they insisted that it was better for them two to handle the items then bring in extra guys. And you know what... they were the right. The guys worked effiiciently and took the time to go over every item with me and put it where I wanted it! Fantastic job! Well in summary DON FARR WAS AWESOME!!! and I really think that is important to take the time to let people know about a good job when far too ofter people just want to list the bad.

I really enjoyed the crew Don Farr sent me. The guys worked awesome and really had fun with them. I joked with the one mover because he was small but he sure worked hard. I would recommend this mover to anybody.

Do not be tempted to trust your relocation to this firm. I have made numerous moves over the years ( local and cross country) utilizing multiple moving and storage companies, and this company ranks lower than poor on my list! The provided quote may appear budget friendly, but that is where any customer service ends. The actual movers are inexperienced and unqualified, which in my case, resulted in unnecessary damages to the structure of my home as well as my belongings. ( Keep in mind that I am a veteran of myriad moves and I am well aware that scraped walls and scratched and dinged furniture are common, unavoidable side effects of moves; I am NOT referring to this type of problem). Contact with Don Farr Moving & Storage during the rapidly deteriorating situation on the day of my move, in addition to subsequent requests for dialogue have been met with outright rudeness and condescension, if not completely ignored. It has been 1 year since my transfer and no review of my submitted claim has been realized. Again, may I sincerely offer my humble opinion that this firm should not be doing business with the public or be allowed anywhere near customers who expect household belongings and home be respected.

I recently moved and Don Farr movers severely damaged almost every piece of furniture they touched...filed claim through Don Far and five months later (ridiculously), they want to give me a mere $100 for damage to thousands of dollars worth of furniture. If you like your furniture..I suggest NOT using Don Farr!!

These people were horrible. Move was late, did not send enough people, forgot supplies and above all were rude. You will regret if you hire them. We did and wished we had read about law suit against them first.

Just horrible. Initial phone consult etc. went fine. The day of the move, they changed the time to afternoon, forgot some supplies, did not have enough help and move was completed at 10:30 at night. When I called to complain, was yelled at by a supervisor. Dont ever use them, they were horrible and unprofessional
