Dr. Nancy Stewart is the best dentist I have ever had. Her office staff and office environment are superb as well. I am used to getting superb cleanings, skillful cancer screenings, expert fillings and perfectionistic crowns. At this office, if a crown is at first not perfectly fitted to my mouth, she will not let it go without having it redone until it is perfect. Although cosmetic dentistry is one of her particular strengths, I have never been interested in it. Then recently I spoiled the surfaces of several my teeth by some behavior or bad luck I do not fully understand. As a result, everyone agreed, including me, that some serious restorative work was in order. This resulted in Dr. Stewart really getting the chance to show what she can do when challenged. When she got finished, those teeth were replaced by beautiful ones the like of which my mouth had never known. Not only did they fit as naturally as my own had done, they fit better. She also went more than the extra mile to accommodate my very difficult schedule and make sure the work was done properly. I am extremely glad she was my dentist when this problem arose. Now I enjoy smiling again, and do not frighten anyone when I do so. Thank you Dr. Stewart!

I have been getting my teeth done for 6 years now: general cleaning, cavities filled, tooth capped and even a mouth guard. I changed to her office because of my friend, Nyasha, a hygienist there. I was not a good patient in the beginning, and the ladies have all helped me improve 100%. I live in Midtown Atlanta and could go to any number of closer places, but choose them. I will never change unless I move out of the state. Good value, very friendly and gentle.

Have you been to those dentists who just throw a rag and a bib on you, tell you to open up, and then proceed to inflict an hour of torture upon your poor bleeding mouth? Don't go there anymore. Seriously. I've been going to Dr. Stewart for years now, and I'm so blessed to have her and Nyasha taking care of me. Not just my teeth -- ME. They're caring and friendly, always conscious of how I'm doing during the cleaning & exam. I would recommend them to anyone living anywhere in the metro Atlanta area. Even if you're in Roswell, they're worth the drive.

I've been in Atlanta for 8 years now and both my wife and I have been seeing Dr. Stewart for roughly 4-5 years. Prior to seeing Dr. Stewart we had tried several dentists and were never quite satisfied. Dr. Stewart and her staff are excellent and come highly recommended.

Highly recommended. I'm 66, with a bad dental history--and I lucked out with these folks. Skill and standards, communication, kindness (to an anxious patient)--all superb, on the part of Dr. Stewart and her whole staff. (Special kudos to hygienist Amy, who's bending over backwards to help me keep these remaining teeth in my head.) Also much appreciate Dr. Stewart's sensitivity to my money worries. With no dental insurance and a very low income in retirement I know I will get the straight story about which procedures are crucial and which are not.

Dr. Stewart and the entire staff are amazing! I have a severe phobia and they treat me with such kindness from calling the evening before to make sure I am calm, meeting me at the door with a smile, giving me a teddy bear to hold on to and blanket if needed, and then proceeding with excellent dental care. I am having to go through some extensive dental procedures due to my fear and lack of time spent at the dentist, and Dr. Stewart and her staff have never once made me feel embarrassed or guilty. The level of professionalism in that office is felt with person you talk you. They are all experts at their craft and make sure to explain to you in easy terms the procedures and help to make a plan to get you your best smile possible. They do everything they can each time I visit to help to make the dentist a not so terrifying place to be. I can't fully say I am over my fear, but I will say with confidence that I have my dentist that can get me there one day!

T, We will miss you and J, too! Surrounding ourselves with great patients like you two also helps make our day! Good luck with the move and we are always here for you if you move back to Atlanta. Dr nancy
So, they need the very best of care. Nancy and her team are dedicated to quality care of your pearly whites! Not only that, they deal with the whole person--your habits and needs. For example, when I had a persistent problem, Nancy suggested I go to an ENT, since it wasn't in my teeth. I would never have thought of this connection! When you get your teeth taken are of at Nancy's, you walk out feeling as if your teeth are so wonderful and valuable and will last you a long, long time!

Dr. Stewart and her staff are professional and do their best to ensure a pain free visit for their patients. I move to Atlanta five years ago and a coworker recommend her office. I've have a number of procedures and work done on my mouth and I can't recommend these folks enough. They take their time - but they do the job right and pain free.

I'm new to Dr. Stewarts practice. The initial consultation consisted of X-rays & Examination. Dr. Stewart then went over everything with me and developed a plan for me by order of importance, as I need several procedures done. I don't have insurance so this was very important to me. She showed me that it was important to her, as well. I've had 2 procedures done so far. Very painless and professional. A very nice and professional staff. Very clean and state of the art equiptment. A very big thank you to Dr. Stewart and staff

On the positive note, the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, in spite of all the good reviews, my experience with Dr.Stewart's office was not as pleasant. My frustrations started in just making an appointment. Apparently only one of the staff that answers the phone can do this so I was told multiple times she would call me back. Each time I was the one who called back. The office was very good at explaining insurance coverage, I wish they had been that thorough in explaining what the first visit entailed. I was not aware until after they had taken a full set of x-rays that this first visit did not include a cleaning. They claimed to have not received my previous dental records which had been sent a month prior to my appointment. Had I known I wasn't getting a cleaning I wouldn't have let them proceed with a new set of x-rays, but I figured I was already there so I consented to it so I could have the cleaning. Also watch out-make sure to ask for a lead apron during x-rays because they did not use one on me! I also felt my visit was a borderline sales pitch. I will not be returning to them for service.

Our office philosophy is that every patient is an individual and deserves to have individual care. Our new patient examination includes a detailed medical and dental history review, and a thorough doctor to patient discussion about past, current and ongoing dental concerns. To evaluate the current state of a patients dental health the new patient exam includes intraoral photographs, digital radiographs, a periodontal (gum tissues and bone levels) assessment, a visual examination of the head and neck area, an oral cancer/ soft tissue screening, an occlusal classification (the way the teeth contact each other), orthodontic (braces) issues, a limited neuromuscular / TMJ examination, a brief esthetic analysis, and a tooth-by-tooth evaluation of past, present and pending issues. We strongly believe that the new dental patient interview and examination should be completed prior to scheduling any type of periodontal or hygiene care. The first ‘cleaning' appointment is based on the patient's periodontal history, when they last had their teeth ‘cleaned' and their current periodontal condition. These factors help us schedule an appropriate amount of time for their first hygiene (cleaning) visit. We are always happy to help patients retrieve their past dental records if given the appropriate contact information. In our small dental office, patient safety is our top priority. We routinely take x-rays on patients and always use a lead apron. On a personal note, I am extremely pleased, fortunate and honored to work with such an incredible team of highly trained, compassionate, caring and professional staff. Our dental team goes the extra mile to explain issues, make patients comfortable and see to their safety while providing quality care.

I just had my permanent crown placed by Dr. Stewart. It sits very nicely in my mouth. After trying on my crown I was X-rayed and saw for myself how even it was seated. Dr. Stewart and staff are a credit to their profession. Thank You Dr. Stewart and staff. Very painless dentistry. (:

I saw Dr. Stewart a couple days ago and, I had a fabulous experience! The entire staff was so friendly and incredibly thorough with everything they did. Dr .Stewart took so much time with me, doing my exam and answering all the questions I had.She explained the problem areas going on in my mouth so that I could easily understand. If your looking for something short and quick I don't recommend going here. But if your looking for something thorough with a extremely wonderful environment then this is the place for you!
