We just had a wonderful first visit. The staff is courteous and patient, the doctor went out of her way to make sure all of our questions were answered, and the bill ended up being lower than we had come to expect from our previous vet. We will absolutely be entrusting the care of our furry kid to them going forward!

Tyson is a 6 1/2 month old puppy that fell in the middle of the night. I have been taking him to DAH since he was 6 weeks and they are great they took the time to bring him in first thing this morning! Tyson is a 70 pound Rottweiler and I also own pitbulls and no matter the breed or temperament DAH staff will not discriminate and show your animal the care he or she deserves! I have dealt with several other vets the past 10 years and I wouldn't recommend any of them and only recommend Duluth Animal Hospital! Thank you!

My cat was sick and her regular vet's office was closed. On the recommendation of a friend, I called Duluth Animal Hospital. They were able to see her on short notice and the care they gave her was wonderful. They showed caring and understanding and I will take my pets there from now on. Dr. Glavis even called this morning to see how my kitty was doing.

I have been looking for a vet who will listen to me, treat me like the educated consumer that I am, and not treat my pets like the next number in line for years. I heard about Duluth Animal Hospital from a few of my clients and decided to try them out. The only issue we have had has been with the front office, and Dr. Miller got them together and they all got on the same page and everything has been great since. Dr. Diehl is the best vet I have ever met. It's not just about the animals, but about people relations, too. She has both down, showing how much she cares about pets just by the way she pets them, holds them, and her general behavior around them, while simultaneously holding a conversation with the pet's owner and listening to their concerns and ramblings, and answering their questions and making the worry warts (me) feel much better. My husband and I have 5 dogs and 4 cats, and veterinary care has been a really big stress in my life for a long time, but that weight has been lifted by Dr. Diehl and Duluth Animal Hospital. One of our cats was seen by Dr. Holsten as well and she, like Dr. Diehl, is a wonderful vet who will talk with and listen to you. Dr. Miller has met with my husband and he was friendly, helpful and caring. I don't agree that they are any more expensive than most of the vet offices in Gwinnett; I'd venture to say that they are a little more affordable, actually. All in all, you can't go wrong with Duluth Animal Hospital.

I dropped off my dog as a new client for grooming, then turned around and picked her right back up. When making the appointment, the lady asked me if her shots were up to date. I said yes, because they were. Once I arrived, they said the kennel cough vax was required too. That's not a state required shot, not all groomers require it, and my dog is an only dog that doesn't board or play with other dogs. Plus, it's Kennel Cough, the equivalent of a highly contagious cold/flu and the vaccines don't prevent it 100%. So, no, she didn't have that vax. In the past, when that's come up, the groomers would take care of it very quickly for around 10-15$. At Duluth Animal Hospital, they wanted to charge a new pet exam fee and the vaccination on top of the grooming. Total fees would have jumped from $50 to over $100 for what should have just been a Grooming! I took my dog back home and found a better place the following week, no problems at all. When I arrived to take her back home, they tried to push some papers at me explaining Kennel Cough. Also, when I set the appointment, the front office lady asked what I consider a strange question for a vet. Why does she need to know where I work?

I have used Duluth Animal Hospital for over 20 years and they are hands down the best vets. Through the years they have provided excellent compassionate care for my dog and cats. They are reasonable when discussing your options and obviously care more about your pets' health than making money. I have unfortunately had the experience of dealing with the end of my pet's life and they were unbelievably compassionate and sensitive and made what is such a hard experience as bearable as it could be. Go see these folks, they are the best!

I recently moved to Duluth from Indiana. I had a vet that I adored in Indiana and who wasn't out to gouge my pocketbook. So I had high expectations for the next vet. This morning I had to take my dog in as she injured her leg. I was VERY impressed with Duluth Animal Hospital. Dr. Miller was wonderful with my dog! The staff is friendly and you can tell they love animals. I read all the reviews before I went and am so glad that people took the time to give credit where it was totally due. Thank you to the previous reviewers as you guided me to our new Vet! Thank you to Duluth Animal Hospital for giving the treatment to Belle that you would have for your own pet!

I have been going here for three years. My pet gets her yearly check ups and visits in between when she was sick. One night she urinated almost pure blood and I had to take her into the emergency room. Turns out that she has MAJOR bladder stones. The vet showed me by giving her abdomen a squeeze and you can totally feel them in her bladder! I've seen them do it before when she gets her vaccinations but they never alerted me to any bladder stones and my last visit with them was only a month ago! If they could be felt so easily when a squeeze of her belly, how comoe they couldn't feel it!?! Being as this was an ongoing problem I just expected better.

The staff is great and truly cares about the animals and the owners. From the office staff to the vet.and their techs. I can't say enough good things about them. They are very reasonable in the prices as well.I have 4 dogs,2 of them had surgery there, they very well taken care of. Got phone calls from there to see how they were doing.I'm very comfortable with them, give the best advice. They don't over charge and if you can get the meds. over counter, they will let you know.My pets have been going to them for 12 years, and we are still faithfully going to them.Great vets.

I have 3 FUR BABIES and one has trust issues. He is afraid of being abused or hurt . We had to change vets recently and after getting referals and calling to explain his needs we came her. Good choice he loves DR DECKER she is very good with him and does not have to muzzle him.we were also glad to see COURTNEY she used to work for his other vet and we LOVED HER. A familiar face always helps.

This office staff truly loves animals. They will give your pet excellent care and lots of love. Joyce, the groomer is simply fantastic. She treats every pet as if they were her own. Boarding is available, only downside is if you get home after 1:00 PM on Saturday, you can't pick your pet up until Monday morning. (i.e. extra day's charge and another day missing your favorite furry friend).
