Its ridiculous when calling an Dr Office you always have to leave a message and cannot talk directly to Anyone!! This is awful...before I walked in the door I called just to see if anyone would answer and just as sure they didn't..when i walked in the door the staff was just sitting at the front desk doing NOTHING!! but talking!!

Dr Lori Schaen only sees her patients during the early mornings. This what we were told and given appointments only during mornings which is hard to get there in this Atlanta traffic. My daughter an UGA student has to come all the way from UGA for an appointment with Dr.Schaen. She was caught up in the traffic due to accidents on the road and was late for the appointment and she had to pay $50 dollar late fee and rescheduled another one with Dr.Schaen and this time there was an accident and road construction and was late but well within the 15 min grace period and when she approached the desk, there was no one and so the lady asked my daughter to pay a late fee again which she did. I complained to the manager and they care less for the patients. my daughter is a patient with those dermatologists at this facility since 2 years and no consideration that the student coming all the way from UGA early morning apart from missing her classes. Since two years she never had real dermatologist look at her at this facility. It was only Physician Assistants that were attending her. I was being patient to see if they will ever give an actual real dermatologist to look at her . When she was given one all this happened. I am about to report to the insurance as well. I usually do not write reviews but I want let people know about this facility and their service. Very bad service. Do not have courtesy for a patient travelling from long distance. I would not recommend anyone.

I've seen Dr Lori Schaen for more than 10 years. Not only she's the best dermatologist but she is so sweet and kind and make you feel comfortable . She is very honest and tell you what you need and maintain to have beautiful skin . I will not go anywhere else plus she have very friendly staff. A one stop place for your skin, prevention and beautification all in one !

If I could leave zero stars I would. I honestly do not know how these people are still in business. The numbers of complaints from previous patients speaks VOLUMES. The staff appear nice but their actions are ghetto. Dunwoody...yeah right. They may as well be located on Candler Road. The staff has no problem lying on patients to cover their own a** and based on other reviews this is a regular occurance. If you have an issue regarding your prescribed treatment from the doctor and leave a message on the nurses line don't expect to get a call back and god forbid you have a billing issue. You can hang that up too!

They just lost me as a patient due to their staff. I have had good experiences in the past with Dr. Lori Schaen...she helped me tremendously with my rosacea years ago but I will no longer visit her practice because of her front desk staff. An accounts of the events: Scheduled my appointment with Dr. Lori, the wait was about 6-8 weeks to get an appointment. The scheduler did not make any remarks at the time of scheduling although I mentioned to her that I had not been in the practice in the last 4 years or so. Walked into the office and signed in at my appointment time of 1:30 pm. The receptionist told me she needed a moment to gather my paperwork. I inquired where the restroom was as I was accompanied by my toddler and let her know I was headed there. Upon my return I let the receptionist know that I would need to get my health insurance ID card faxed over...This is right around where the receptionist's attitude started to show. Then proceeds to tell me that my appointment is almost over...this was at 1:40 pm. I am perplexed...how can my appointment be over before it even started? She tells me that well I only had 15 minutes of grace period...I am still perplexed since I arrived at 1:30 pm... All of the sudden another lady comes over, hands me my paperwork and says for me to hurry and fill it out because my appointment is starting now. I am waiting by the door thi

I visited this office for a contact dermatitis rash. The PA was very competent and her treatment took care of the rash in a timely fashion. I cannot speak to the competency of the physicians here because I was never seen by any. My issue with this office is how they conduct their billing practices and awful customer service. I was told explicitly at my follow-up visits that I would NOT be charged for my visit by both the PA and front desk staff. Now, 6 months later I've received a co-pay bill for my follow-up visit. When I called to dispute these charges, I was told that maybe my co-pay had "slipped through the cracks", that it is not their policy to not charge patients for follow-up visits and even if someone did tell me I wouldn't be charged, no one in the office has the authority to make such a decision, which is an outright lie. When I tried to explain the situation to the office manager, he argued with me and curtly said "you're legally obligated to pay your co-pay, so pay it", even though I thoroughly explained to him that I was explicitly told there would be no charge for my visit. He also told me posting a negative review online is a "waste of time". Retroactively, they've decided they want my money. This is a shady, dishonest office that is not to be trusted financially and they have no idea how to treat patients. Very rude. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. Avoid at all costs!

I take my entire family to this practice. I've seen a few of the dermatologists but Dr. Bellamy is by far my top recommendation. She takes her time, she's very concerned about her patients as well as providing accurate diagnosis and prescriptions. My husband, son, and daughter see Dr. Bellamy and are extremely pleased with our skin as a result of her care. Not only is she outstanding but the group of nurses and care managers are outstanding. Tiffany in particular is one of the most caring and professional staff that we have encountered. She's always professional, attentive, and beyond courteous. I love this practice!

I saw Dr. Schaen several years ago for acne and not only did the regimen she prescribed get rid of my acne but I also had a glowing complexion. Since then, the ance has reappeared so I made an appointment with a dermatologist near where I live. During my appointment with the other dermatologist office, I regretted not having made my appointment with Dr. Schaen. Dr. Schaen diagnoses your skin and has a caring attitude unlike many of the others I have seen over the years.

This is an amazing practice. It's a lot different as far as the staff goes. Everyone is kind and helpful and so professional. Of course the doctors are TERRIFIC as always- but I never really wanted to go there because they had such a nasty and rude staff before. It's GREAT now and I would recommend it as the best dermatology practice in Atlanta!!!

I was finally able to speak with someone in the office to help resolve my pathology billing issue. So I wanted to follow up on my previous review. Once I was able to explain what was going on, the office was very helpful and my issue is being addressed. It seems as if the pathologist that read my specimen was not contracted with the particular BCBS plan I was on so the lab had someone else read it and it will be resubmitted. My only complaint is having to leave a message and not being called back. But I ended up getting around that and had immediate results.

Dr. Schaen is an extraordinary physician and I couldn't be more pleased with her expertise:She has accomplished in 6 months, what 8 other doctors couldn't in 6 years! Dr. Schaen cares about the overall experience for her patients. I'm so thankful that she was able to eradicate my Adult-Onset acne:She is the best in the industry (...and I would know)!

After being with Dunwoody Dermatology for some time now, I realize how fortunate I was to find this practice. I usually see Dr. Schean, but I've also seen Dr. Bellamy at times. This practice always sees me on time, and have even called me the day before to adjust my appointment time so that I would not have to wait when I arrived. Most people like to complain about the wait time at offices, so I thought it important to highlight the opposite; a rarity in medicine today. I have lupus and Dr. Schean works closely with my rheumatologist. I have received great attention for my problem, down to what sunblocks to use. Wanda at front always puts a smile on my face. Thank you Dunwoody Dermatology for the fantastic office that you are.

I am truly grateful to have found a wonderful staff and doctor like Dr. Bellamy. After having my 3rd child, I have battled "the mask" and have tried my hardest to keep my appt but kept having to reschedule because of my obligations with my children's school. I gave the nurse a call and within 24 hours she responded with OTC products that I could purchase. Thank you so much for helping me get back on track and feeling pretty again.

I decided to visit Dunwoody Dermatology based on it's outstanding reputation. I was not disappointed. The office is beautiful, conveniently located and with plenty of free parking. I was taken back in less than 10 minutes from check-in. Dr. Schaen was very attentive and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. She customized a treatment plan for me that was extremely effective. This dermatology office definitely lives up to it's reputation.
