I initially chose Dr. Anderson's office for my oral surgery work because they were open in sharing the cost of their work, as opposed to another office closer to where I live who were on the same discount plan. He is a very skilled surgeon, who has practiced for many years, and it is obvious that Dr. Anderson loves what he does. Such care is important because being a great oral surgeon requires creativity and attention to detail. When I asked the office for a sample of titanium to determine allergy, they generously provided me with one. He and his staff listened to my concerns. I experienced no pain after my implant surgery, and skin graft surgery. I feel very confident about his competency, and that is also reflected in his helpful staff. Dr. Anderson cares about his patients and their health. He knows that dental IS medical; that dental health is vital to health, that is why he has gone out of his way to perform surgeries on patients who had to have them, and as a service to military personnel. After years of great indecision, and trepidation about what to do about my dental needs I finally found my way to Dr. Anderson's office, and I am very satisfied with the results.

I had a procedure at Dunwoody Oral Surgery and I am very pleased with the results and with Dr. Anderson. He was a great doctor and the office staff was very helpful. The follow ups have been great too.

Looking for an oral surgeon? Simply put, Dr. Anderson is your man - an expert surgeon and an all-around pleasant person. I decided to opt for local anesthesia for my impacted wisdom-tooth extraction. Needless to say, I was anxious. The thought of being awake for this procedure made me less than enthused, but Dr. Anderson had me laughing in the chair before the procedure started. These are situations in which bedside manner give you extra points. This is why Dr. Anderson gets 5 stars. He guided me through the whole procedure so I knew exactly what I would hear and feel; he made me feel confident while in the chair; and he made me smile, even with gauze in the mouth! A big accomplishment! Thank you to the whole staff (particularly the ladies at reception)

I went to Dr. Anderson because he participates in the United Healthcare PPO (and many other insurance preferred provider groups). Unfortunately some oral surgeons do not participate in any of the insurance preferred groups so that the patient is responsible for all the cost, no matter how high it is. Oral surgery is scary because of the potential for pain, but Dr. Anderson prescribed pain medicine that was effective while my tongue healed. The office staff was efficient and it was nice of Dr. Anderson to call me at home the night after the surgery to see how I was doing.

My dentist recommended Dr. Anderson when he told me I need my wisdom teeth removed. I went in and hard my procedure done with Dr. Anderson and I must say the experience was better than I expected. The office staff was very helpful and punctual. The doctor took a lot of time in the consult to explain everything I needed to know about the procedure. After the surgery the recovery was a breeze. I recommend this oral surgeon to anyone who needs their wisdom teeth removed.

I was very unhappy with my experience at Dr. Anderson's office. His office staff is the worst I have seen in my life. His billing policies are horrendous. I went somewhere else for a second opinion and nearly died when I got a price that was half of Dr. Andersons! And he is a participating provider of my insurer!

The doctor was very informative and had a wonderful bedside manner. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous, but once the doctor saw us and explained everything in detail she was calm and we felt very confident. The doctor called that evening to check on her which was very thoughtful. All in all great experience.

very unprofessional; very impersonal (staff and doctor); extremely poor bedside manner; rude; uninformative...my wife walked out crying and terrified after a follow up appointment from her wisdom teeth extraction. ....find another surgeon.

I am sorry to hear you had a difficult visit, surgery is often very stressful and Dunwoody Oral Surgery is committed to all patients.
I had a very bad experience with Dr. Anderson at his Marietta Office. I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I was restrained to a chair (which I thought was odd), hooked up to laughing gas, and left there for an hour while the doctor saw other patients. Then he did not take my advice to use my other arm for the IV, so now I look like a drug addict with bruises on my arm. He also got a very frightening attitude once he could not get the IV to work in my vein. Overall, I am extrememly happy that my wisdom teeth are removed and I will NEVER have to return to that office.

a highly recommended oral surgeon. Unfortunately I was unable to get by his receptionist to have a chance to meet him. She threatened my husband with the police and was very rude. The dr called and apologized, said we can come in, Ms X was still rude, no app. unless we pay in full & up front. REGARDLESS INSURANCE!
