I purchased windows from Duracraft in 2010 with a lifetime warranty for labor and materials. Four of my windows need to be replaced, but the manufacturer is no longer in business. I had to pay 800+ to have replacements sent to me and Duracraft said they would install for free. We have called and emailed for 2 weeks and absolutely no response from anyone at Duracraft. The phone is answered by an answering service. We now have to pay someone to install the windows, so both lifetime guarantees were useless.

I contacted DuraCraft in January 2017 because they were highly recommended for door and window replacement. Mike from sales came to my house on February 4, 2017, measured the doors/windows and provided me with a quote. The quote was reasonable and the sample windows seemed to be of good quality, so I signed the purchase agreement and paid a deposit of over $7,000. Two sets of French doors, 36 windows. Here I am almost two months later with no new windows/doors and no idea of the status of my order. A few responses to email messages to Mike from sales resulted in a reply that "your door will be ready next week"... No mention of the rest of my order. Friday, March 24 I received a message from Donna at the company, telling me that Mike no longer works there. She said the President, Anthony Mattina, told her that, "my door will be in next week".. I asked, What about the other door and the 36 windows? No response as of yet. Donna provided me with Mr. Mattina's email and phone number. I've emailed he and Donna twice.. No response yet.. I called Mr. Mattina's number - his voicemail is not set up so I wasn't able to leave a message. I called Donna's number - an answering service said they are taking calls for the office.. I left my name/number AGAIN.. Still waiting to hear from someone at DuraCraft. Apparently they don't need the $23,000 that my purchase order is for... but they have my deposit.. Lucky them, unlucky me. Don't be unlucky too - stay away from DuraCraft

We spoke with several companies to get estimates for replacing the wood siding with Hardiplank and new gutters. They were the lowest quote we received but sat on the estimates for a while. We spoke with others who used DuraCraft for siding and seemed pleased with the job so we booked our job. The job started on time and the crew did a full walk through with me to explain what they were doing and to see if I had any questions. The were good about letting me know when they found rotted windows or any other damage and gave me the choice to fix it . After each crew finished, they did a walkthrough with me to make sure everything was satisfactory. They finished in a timely manner and both the siding and paint job look fantastic! They went above and beyond. They offered to pressure wash the front of our house as well. During the siding process a window was broken and they made no fuss about ordering and installing a new piece of glass. I would highly recommend DuraCraft.

DuraCraft Siding & Window Company resided and painted my home. They are a reliable, reputable Company to do business with. As with any business deals just make sure that the written contract has everything that you want done or have discussed on your project is included in the written contract.

I found DuraCraft to be very professional in all aspects of their service. The salesman was very responsive and available when I needed to speak to him. He listened to our issues and reacted to every concern in the contract signing. They assigned a super team to install the hardie board and shingles. The team of installers were here every day and on time. If they came to an issue that required a decision to be made, they came to us for our input, they made recommendations that were helpful and in the end, they did what we wanted done. The DuraCraft team completed the job in the estimated time frame. After the work was completed and paid for, there were several very minor touch ups that were needed. Duracraft came out immediately and made the needed changes. We were completely satisfied with everyone at DuraCraft, the salesman, the installing team, the office staff and management. Going through a project of this magnitude is no easy task, but DuraCraft made it as pleasant as humanly possible. Their workmanship and work ethics were outstanding. I would recommend Duracraft to anyone for Hardie siding and Hardie shingle installation.

I was known as a perfectionist with over 25 yrs. of experience in carpentry and painting having my own contracting business, but I was schooled by some true artist. The siding and paint are beyond anything I ever imagined. Some of the comments my friends have made after seeing my house were "It looks fake", It looks as if it was molded as one piece", and "Did they use the same paint used in pick-up beds". These comments were made by three seasoned contractors with a total of over 80 yrs. experience between them. I still am a perfectionist, but I am so glad I hired the artist of Dura Craft to replace the siding and paint my house.

I was very pleased with the value I received. In terms of other people's estimates on cost they were well under everyone else's and the quality of what they provided was superior to anything I have seen on the market.

We purchased 15 windows from Duracraft several years ago. Several of them have started fogging and when we called to activate the warranty, we were told that Duracraft respects warranties only on labor defects not parts. The manufacturer of the windows has gone out of business (how convenient) and so we are up the creek without a paddle. Each window cost in excess of $550. Our biggest loss on our home investment. While I understand that the company has fallen through many hardships from many fronts, the least they could have done is call all their clients and inform them of the pending bankruptcy of the manufacturer. That way those who were putting off repairs could have gotten scrambling. Bottom line, know that you could spend a ton of money on fancy windows with "lifetime warranties" only to have it all fall flat on your face.

I spend a fortune having all my windows replaced. I was told that they had a lifetime warranty. They are now fogging up and I am told that the manufacturer went out of business and I'm out of luck. Totally disappointed with the company.

Windows are fogging up due to poor construction. Duracraft says the manufacturer is out of business so we are out of luck. Don't fall for their sales pitch- no personal responsibility on their part. Their warranty is worthless.

The windows seem fine - too soon to really tell. My main problem with this company is that I had to call them to get scheduled for installation, even though they were supposed to call me as soon as the windows came in. I had one window that didn't fit properly - was told it would be re-installed in two to three weeks. Five weeks later I call them - and they have the window, just never bothered to call me. Poor customer service - hope I don't have any issues in the future!
