It usually takes 45 seconds for receiving calls from the monitoring after triggering the alarms. Today, I accidentally triggered the alarm, it took a FULL TWO (2) minutes to receive a call from them. I used to live across the street in an apartment, and their monitoring response is 6 to 10 seconds from when I disarm. After I triggered the alarm today, I was able to go pick up the mails from street, opened up two mails, and then got the CALL! I wonder what kind of monitoring service they are providing. I wish I had read the previous user's comment. I cannot say too bad enough about this company, fearing too little customers will put them out of business. I do hope they can find good monitoring / answering service around the Atlanta area. Any second counts when saving life! I cannot believe a FULL TWO (2) minutes will happen in such industrial. This is not acceptable, not realistic, and it's a joke!

Unfortunately, we have been with EE Armored for three years as under contract. The call time for alarm faults was at a minimum 2 minutes and maximum of 4 1/2 minutes. Didn't make me feel secure. Called on numerous occasions about problems and on the few times my call was returned, it took days. Our alarm was not longer working nor was EE Armored calling when it went off. I had called for a service appointment and it was going to be weeks before someone came out. I am home alone with kids and so that was unacceptable. Finally, one month before contract was up (I was getting a free year), I called to see if there was any early termination fee since I wasn't paying anyway. No one ever returned my call so I went with another company. I never called to cancel with EE Armored and sent a letter telling them I was not renewing. I planned to just continue with both companies until my contract was up. They sent me a letter two days later saying I owed $75 for early termination. By signing up with two companies, they said I had effectively terminated the contract. Funny, they never returned my calls about termination fees but can quickly send a fee bill for termination. Called to complain and am still waiting two days later for them to get back to me. The person who can answer all questions "never comes into the office" is what I was told. I was told they would talk to him about my problems and get back to me. Not likely. Be very careful when signing with this company.

I have been happy with the monitoring service and the price. I did not like their contract because of the automatic renewal clause and the time period (3 years). I ended up selling my home and had to discontinue the service after 5 years. They initially were going to charge me the disconnect fee, but because I had complained about the charge after being a customer for 5 years, they did waive the $75 disconnect fee. I would recomment the service, but I would also recommend avoiding the long contract, instead try to negotiate a month to month deal.
