EMC Security

We are pleased to report that with the help of Michael Morton, the sales manager, our issues (detailed below) with EMC have been resolved. We initially contracted with EMC to convert an old ADT security system. The technician that came to convert our system was very knowledgeable, and quickly determined that our detectors were not compatible with the new EMC system. This necessitated the installation of new sensors at a considerably higher cost. As a consequence, we ended up purchasing a more bare-bones system with less coverage at a significantly higher cost than was originally estimated for conversion. While all EMC representatives behaved in a professional manner, neither the phone nor the sales representative that came to our home was knowledgeable enough to assess whether or not our old system could in fact be converted. Only when the technician came to convert the system were we informed that our old system couldn’t be converted. Again while our overall experiences with EMC were good (especially the skill of the installation technician), we strongly suggest that when a customer requests a conversion of an existing system that a trained technician assess the potential compatibility of the old system with the new before any contractual arrangements are made.

I converted to EMC Security today after years of being in a contract with a company that charges twice as much for sloppy work. During this conversion, I have only been treated with the utmost courteousy from the sales team to the technician. My technician, Wesley F., was on-time, knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. The previous company had never mentioned that I had a battery in the panel box that may need changing at some point, nor did they show me where the transformer was in my attic as Wesley did. Wesley pointed out that the previous company left the wires to one of the zones disconnected. That was a shock. He tested all the zones again to make sure that my system is operating properly. Thus far, I'm glad I did trust Dale (trustdale.com)and give EMC Security a try.

I'm getting a system with EMC, but the price of having a wireless is high to me, extra $200 for that. Seems as many people do not have home phones services that the price of this would be a litlle cheaper. Only chose the system because of parents, but whith the price should have went with another company.



Call back and really no change..said what was quoted and offered was the best they could do, talk to a lady who by the way did not give her name.

My family has lived in Atlanta all our lives. We've lived in Chamblee, Suwanee, and now Alpharetta. We have been been victims of thieves and bad alarm companies who gave expensive service and terrible service. The thieves I can't control, but I can control what alarm company I choose. Finaly, have found the best one. From the sales person and technician were the finest we've met. When they installed the service, he even cleaned up the area himself before he left. The customer service has been impeccable. Great monthly price and service. Please don't ever change.
