Very Disappointed
I recently visited Dr. Jenny Kim who is a member of ENT of Georgia. Jenny Kim rushed through the appointment and suggested Surgery. A second opinion revealed that an over-the-counter medication would solve my problem. Since the visit with Jenny Kim was a waste of time, I requested a bill reduction through ENT of Georgia. The request was denied and no reason given. I am very disappointed in ENT of Georgia and Dr. Jenny Kim. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

I am very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us. Unfortunately HIPAA regulations prevent us from going into any detail about your medical history, but Dr. Kim did not insist on surgery, she was just giving you a treatment option. She also found additional findings on her exam that she felt needed to be treated. As a policy, we do not alter our medical billing because a patient is more satisfied with a different opinion received elsewhere. We are happy that you are feeling better.

Very Disappointed
ENT of GA came very highly recommended. I have an ear problem that, after almost two months, has yet to be diagnosed correctly or resolved. The short story is that I saw three doctors from this practice at different times. Each time I waited over an hour in the examining room. Once the doctor forgot I was there until I stepped out to remind them. Three doctors, three different diagnoses. One prescribed an antibiotic that is penicillin based when I had confirmed my allergy to penicillin in writing prior to seeing the doctor. I came down with a body rash and gastro problems so I googled the drug - that's when I discovered the penicillin reference. I called to report the allergic reaction and no one called me back. $80.00 for the medication that I had to throw out and it turns out the infection was gone anyway. On my last visit I was told that a specialist would contact me to make an appointment for a consult. Never received a call. I tracked down the name of the doctor and called them. No knowledge of the referral and no appointments for two months! This is private practice at its absolute worst.

Dr. Stolovitzky treated us with respect and took GREAT care of our child
My 9 month old son had been suffering from ear infections and had failed 5 hearing tests. The fluid was not draining from his ears. Dr. Stolovitzky's office saw us right away. We had a normal (10-20 minutes) waiting period to be seen. We saw Dr. Stolovitzky on Monday and our son had surgery on Friday. We did have to have the surgery at his practice (not at Emory Eastside, but from my experience at Emory Eastside, I wouldn't send a dead dog there). The surgery was a success. Our son finally passed a hearing test! About 6 months after the surgery, our son got an ear infection. Dr. Stolovitzky saw us immediately and treated our case with urgency!! He truly cares about our son's ears!! I would recommend Dr. Stolovitzky to anyone!!

Beware of their money-making scams
My daughter was referred to Dr. Stolovitzky for a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. We waited almost 3 hours before being seen. The doctors made me fill out repeat paperwork twice, then asked me to do more again on a later date. Dr. Stolovitzky told me my daughter had a deviated septum that would need repaired when she is older, and for now would require laser surgery to clear excess skin and make her breath easier. He also told me that children's tonsillectomies cannot be performed at Emory Eastside, and instead had to be done at their own treatment facility. It took several days for the lady in charge of scheduling to return calls, and then called only after extra emails were sent to get her attention.\r\rI felt really uncomfortable with the whole situation and switched doctors to one of the best in the nation. She told me that my daughter's deviated septum was so slight that it would never need repaired, that she didn't need the extra laser surgery, and that she could perform the surgery at Emory Eastside (which, BTW, had several children having tonsillectomies the day my daughter had hers). \r\rNot only was Dr Stolovitsky's office disorganized, it also appeared to be out to make extra money through unnecessary procedures. BEWARE!
