It all began with Tom Stogsdill. He was our sales consultant. He was on time for the evaluation and very professional. He explained codes and permitting for Fayette County. He spent a lot of time... answering our questions. Tom was very easy to contact and guided us step by step through the initial process. Sam Tidwell is our project manager. He is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the building process. He explained everything about the materials and procedures that were going to be used. Under him, we had a new deck built, new roof, new columns, exterior paint and new gutters. I had prepared myself for a lot of stress over this, but Sam made it stress-free. He took care of everything and any questions we had, he was available and capable of answering even to my extremely particular husband about how things are done. He often went out of his way for us, moving a freezer for the painters and installing screening and windows himself. The workmanship is excellent. I just love our new covered deck. The crew, led by Casey, worked long hours to complete the job and always left the area clean. They were even nice to my dogs when they escaped. The roof was done by a great crew in one day, really incredible to see them work. Our columns were up in just a couple of hours. The painters are willing to work weekends. The gutters are custom-made on-site. They are just amazing. I would absolutely recommend them for any exterior job and use them again if we ever needed anything.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

It was exceptional to work with such friendly and professional people for a change! The end results met and exceeded our expectations. I'd use Exovations if I had another job to do.

I have never been more disappointed with a contractor since I became a homeowner, and that is saying a mouthful. You will pay a premium for lightly supervised subcontractors to do a sloppy job, and "customer service" appears to be several repeat visits to your home until you can't take it anymore and just want them to leave. I have a crooked piece of fascia, I picked up nails out of my lawn and my driveway (!!), and I was the one that had to walk around the house and point out the paint splotches on my garage door and underneath my shutters, the places were swaths of paint were missing second coats, the paint left around window panes that wasn't scraped, or dripped onto the thresholds, the way my screens are now painted to my window frames. I hired this company at this price because I believed that I wouldn't have these (or any!) issues. Perhaps if you are just looking for a small job, such as getting your house painted, you'd be better served with a smaller operation. I'm would not recommend Exovations for something like this. It was extremely stressful which was the last thing I expected or needed.

In any project, the homeowner needs to ultimately oversee their renovation or remodel and know the industry standard. I had really high expectations and though I was observant, it was still a challenge. I do believe the fact that they provide a Project Manager who communicates consistently through telephone calls and coming onsite is a huge asset. Since the crews don't generally speak English, he will make sure your wishes are honored.

They are of the most professional groups that I have ever worked with, which is refreshing in this climate of less than perfect contractors.

Exovations made a lengthy and difficult renovations, into an easy process. It was enjoyable to interact with both Tom and Sam. They were both very professional and great at solving problems. I appreciate how they worked with us through out the whole process.

They were very professional and did what they said they would do. I am extremely happy with the end results.

I strongly believe that the goal of Exovations is to earn the respect and trust of its customers. Any questions/concerns I had were quickly addressed and I'm pleased with the outcome. I will definitely recommend Exovations to family and friends.

The crew arrive on time and completed the job before the end of the day. Everything ran smoothly I only had to be here when they arrived and I was really surprised that they finish so soon. Yes I have recommended Exovations to my friends and people who need their kind of services.

The work that Exovations crews did was superb. They were quick and at the same time very precise. Workmanship is extraordinary. I would use them again for any major project.

What I really appreciate is their project management. No matter how many outsourcing partners are involved in a project, I only have to talk to one guy and that's it. Whether I'm working with Tony or Josh, their system is extremely beneficial to me. They communicate extremely well so that I always have a firm understanding of the project and where we are in the process.

They did a great job. The windows went in without a problem. The installers were pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing. The only thing they forgot was to clean the adhesive and such off the outside of the windows. But, Marcus came through and took care of it right away. This is my second time using Exovations for window replacement. I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the process from beginning to end. I have used them in past, and I will use them again.

I called Exovations because of all the good reviews on Kudzu. I made an appointment to obtain a quote for building a deck at my home. It took 1 1/2 weeks to get someone out there but when the appointment day came no one from Exovations showed up nor did I receive any notification before or after that they were not coming. So I wasted the entire day. Not a good way of establishing a relationship with a customer willing to pay for a 5 figure project. Maybe Exovations is getting so busy they feel they don't need to keep commitments. Anyway, buyer beware that even though they have had good reviews in the past they may not be as good in the future.

Mr. Harris - We checked our appointment calendar and your appointment was actually scheduled for Monday, May 2. It is our policy to confirm our appointments with a follow-up email. We checked that email, and it too shows Monday, May 2. We called you this morning to discuss this and you replied that you were told your appointment was on Monday, April 25. While it is clear in our records that the appointment was for May 2, we understand that miscommunication can happen. We appreciate your willingness to keep your original appointment and we look forward to meeting with you this Monday.
As a small business owner I realize the challenge of putting together a skilled and capable team that will execute a job successfully. Exovations has done just that, overall our experience was a WOW. They transformed the exterior of our house so much so...our neighbors have joined us is saying "WOW". Thank You for a great experience and please congratulate each work team for doing such a dynamic job.

The job was not anything like their advertisement, on time and stress free. The job took longer than expected. We never knew when they would show up, and the communication was poor. The salesman ordered the wrong door, however Jim, the project manager stuck with us and made sure we were happy in the end and got the look that we wanted to get. Even though the experience was painful, our house does look fantastic and in the end Exovations made us happy and stuck with us.

You are right. Your experience with us was not what we promise nor what we are capable of. There is no excuse for ordering the wrong materials, mismanaging the project schedule and not adhering to our “Project Site Code of Conduct,” which includes leaving a clean job site every day. While we are happy that you are pleased with the final product and feel that you received a fair value, your remodeling experience fell well short of your expectations and ours. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, as we will take the necessary actions to prevent the same mistakes happening again.
